Stayed here for two days with my parents and my wife in early august for a long weekend. Very quite and nice big room. We had the two rooms highest in the building up the long stair case, so if you have problems walking that could be an issue. The rooms very big and spacious with a leather couch and... More

Although C due C is bigger and more touristy than St Cirque our very quaint accommodation was delightful. It looked a small place from the outside but once inside it’s quite surprising. Built around a truly medieval looking courtyard, open to the skies with swallows swooping and soaring. Fantastic. The stone stairs lead up to the rooms. Sadly our room... More

My husband and I stayed one night here at the end of September (September 30th, to be exact). We had the Poppy Room, which I highly recommend requesting. The room is large and airy, with a beautiful view of the valley below. The owner was extremely gracious and friendly, gave us a parking pass for our car, and recommended a... More

Stayed only for one night but had a great experience. The owner is really friendly, location is fantastic for watching the sunsets from the terrace or city walls just outside the B&B, rooms very very atmospheric (medieval!) but warm and cosy. Breakfasts were very tasty with locally sourced food (cheeses, meat) and fresh baguettes. Parking available directly in front of... More

This is a real pearl. A medieval house with a central courtyard that has been completely refurbished to a very high standard. The owner is friendly helpful and charming. The views from the room we had were spectacular and you have your own key to come and go as you please. Breakfast is very good and included in the price... More

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a walking tour. Our room was spacious, comfortable and warm (the weather was unseasonably cold). The washing facilities were in the bedroom itself although the shower was hidden and the WC private. The breakfast was first class and served in a room overlooking the valley. Philippe was a little reserved... More

We could not have chosen better; at the maison Bakéa one is welcomed into a beautiful medieval house full of charm with an lovely interior courtyard where the birds fly and sing joyfully; for breakfast one has a view of the valley hidden in the mists - a house in the celestial clouds. We will absolutely return to this house... More

We had a terrible experience here. We were a large group who booked a number of rooms and while there were some changes we let them be known in advance and were not told there would be any issue. The owner was friendly when we came to check the rooms and nice to our face, but after all the guests... More

We recently revisited La Maison Bakea after a particularly enjoyable stay two years ago. Whilst I firmly believe this is a recipe for disappointment, this B&B again exceeded our expectations. Phillipe is a most gracious and generous host, the breakfasts are to die for, rivalling those we have enjoyed in five star accommodation in Paris and Bourgogne. La Maison Bakea... More

I fell in love with Cordes Sur Ciel about 7 years ago and although I have looked far and wide I always seem to come back with family and friends from Australia. " Bakea House 'is fantastic and the host Phillipe is truly divine. My daughter was unwell and nothing was too much trouble for him To ensure that we... More
