This hotel is a little distance out of town, which was fine by us because we had a car. There is a restaurant, but we preferred to go into town for dining. Cahors is such an interesting town to stroll around - don't miss the Pont Valentre and the characterful old quarter. The Kyriad is on the pleasant side of... More

The price was good and the location for passing through (in my case) was great. Fairly basic but I believe it was recently refurbished. There are a few places to eat locally but a drive to the town would be wise. Nice enough hotel although the rooms are a little small.

On Arrival at the Hotel we waited while person was on the phone, Then told our room was in a block 2 across road like prison the entrance was filthy and there was some-one smoking in the doorway, Eventually arrived at room which stank of stale smoke and urine, Bed was clean but lumpy and everywhere in the room was... booked into this hotel for a 2day wedding and then going onto a gite in Montcuq ..... but took a 40 year old MGB !! We had had a couple of breakdowns on our way from our ferry port culminating in a 9 hour breakdown so were very pleased to arrive at the Kyriad and a warm welcome from the... More

Just on the North side of town, the hotel is spread over a number of blocks, our room was a good size with a shower and toilet. The hotel is smart and clean. The hotel is situated on the edge of town as the main road detours around the old town. It is well worth driving (unless you like a... More

First impressions of this budget priced hotel were its clean, bright and airy reception, lounge area and corridors. Our room was spotless and well thought out. The air conditioning worked OK and was almost silent in operation. The shower was powerful. For what we paid it was excellent value, we didn't expect plush carpets etc any we didn't get them.... My room smelled of fresh paint, everything was crisp new. Bathrooms are a little cramped though, with heating too close to the toilet burning your knee when seated - to avoid this, you need to sit "misaligned". The value for money was not bad, yet I have seen better. The courtesy tea/coffee/biscuits were a nice plus; moreover there are shops... More

The room was outdated, with some kind of weird wooden frame on the wall, what the heck it was supposed to be I couldn't tell you. It took ages for the hot water to come through to run my bath. The bed was a double (who has double's these days) and it was cheap and uncomfortable. Reception staff didn't hurry... More

Hotel is ok for a short one night stay. Pool not great as beside very busy main road. Rooms are basic. You pay an extra 7.00 for air con. I booked a triple room which on arrival consisted of a double bed with a kids fold up bed which a few kids had accident's on as the smell of pee... More

Typical hotel for this class... Decent sized room, but not even a real bed frame. The tiny bathroom was very clean, but the countertop in the room was not (odd stains that should have been wiped up). The staff was very helpful and the location was convenient, as well. The walls were kinda thin, though...
