We drove from Kent via the tunnel, and arrived at the hotel late. We had a resonable evening meal but nothing special. The rooms are basic. Breakfast was ordinary then we drove on to our destination. I would use this hotel for a night break in a long journey but not for a stay of a few days.

Located just on the outside of town on the main road to Bergerac. It was too far to walk into Cahors so had to tale the car and find parking space which was not that easy. One of the older design hotels very small room indeed. We noted that the hot afternoon sun blazed straight into the rooms at the... More

We have stayed in quite a few Campaniles over the years and in our opinion this is one of the best. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, quiet aircon and working Wifi. We have learnt to bring our own Tea Bags with us as we don't like the ones they offer - no great hardship. Dinner in the... More

We booked 4 nights over the internet after staying in anoither Campanile Hotel which we really enjoyed.. Unfortunately this one was very tired but I guess for the price it was adequate. The hotel boasts wifi in the rooms but the distance from the office area meant that we had a very poor intermittent connection. Very noisy airconditioner that seemed... More

Hotel is difficult to find as address given on websites is in the middle of town, where in reality it's a long walk from the outskirts approx 3-4 kilometres. We intended to stay 4 nights but checked out after one night as the air conditioning was not working in the whole of the hotel. A small window in the room... More

Stayed at the Campanile Cahors for one night. On arrival, the whole hotel's air conditioners were out of order (no fans either). Let small front waist high window open for some air as room was like a sauna, only to be eaten by mosquitos, then squatting them for the rest of the night. Had to close the window and sleep... More
