This hotel is close to the rail station but is quiet. It is a few minutes'walk away from the main shopping street (Gambetta) and many of the restaurants, some of which are excellent. The rooms are large enough, clean and have all the necessary services. Front desk staff bends over backwards to help, regardless of the request. While the hotel... more

We stayed here for three nights. The hotel was comfortable, the staff helpful and the breakfast croissants among the best ever. The decor in some of the rooms is perhaps a bit dull, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom fine. The hotel is very convenient both for the station and the town centre; we walked everywhere. Cahors... more

This hotel is also called Hotel de France et la Valentre (one part is 3* and the other is 2*, with different prices). I'm surprised the previous reviewer found it needed renovation-- I recently stayed there and couldn't fault it. For €49 we had a spacious, modern, clean and very quiet twin room, with a modern, clean and warm bathroom... more

Stayed there for one night while visiting the city. The interior of the hotel needs a serious renovation and more attention to regular maintenance. There was mold on the shower walls and on the socket of the shower handle. There was no shower curtain, instead they have a less than adequate foot-and-a-half wide plastic board that helped prevent total flooding... more

Cahors is a lovely town and worth a visit. It is surrounded by the river Lot with the lovely old Valente Bridge. Near to this is a bateau that takes you round part of the town and back on the Lot, definitely worth doing. The old quarter of the town is nice with good and reasonably priced restaurants; we used... more

I stayed in this hotel for one night with a Trafalgar Tour, and was decent for the price. Beds were moderately comfortable and most rooms had working A/C. The big plus is it is really close to Devil's Bridge and we spent the evening walking the bridge, then found a pub close by to have a drink at. more

We arrived in Cahors after 9.00pm There were no rooms left at the Terminus and had no alternative but to stay at the Minotel de France. The rooms were sad and tired. The concierge service was appalling and the beds were singularly uncomfortable. We would never stay there again even though we visit Cahors at least 5 or 6 times... more
