We stopped 2nights here. Very quiet. Great bath although the drain had come loose from the main bath and we had a few gallons of water on the bathroom floor. Although opposite the train station no noise to disturb due to modern double glazing.

Wes Anderson would surely love the cheerful goofiness of this hotel, with its pastel colors and old-fashioned touches. It's not at all grand, like the Grand Budapest, but there's just the hint of a link to the old world, and even the people -- the petite, stylish brunette at the front desk and the formally attired headwaiter in the restaurant... Stopped here for one night. Had a room at the top of the hotel, so no wifi available, but got it in the lounge area downstairs, wasn't the end of the world though. Nice toiletries, and nice staff who all spoke English. We didn't eat at the hotel, but there was plenty close by.Very comfortable bed, and quaint hotel, full... More

Stayed for one night on a road trip, great experience. Situated a 5 minute walk from the top of the main road in Cahors, Leon Gambetta. The hotel is close enough to where the town is busy, but also far enough away that it is quiet at night time. All the staff were excellent and friendly. We finished our night off... More

The 'Terminus' hotel is near the trainstation. No noise, but only the benefit if you want to travel around (Toulouse; 7,50€ one way). The hotel is in a classic french building, with glass and lead windows. Good service, nice beds and on walking distance to the centre! I think the best hotel in Cahors, after seen a few!

You would never find this hotel unless you knew where it was. It is close to the railway station, about 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. Lets get the one negative out of the way first...... our room was looking a little tired and in need of a lick of paint. Had that not been the case then... More

Too scruffy to be quaint. Too expensive to eat in and the weirdest heating system we've ever come across. The building was probably the best in town in the 1930's but hasn't been sympathetically maintained since by the look of it. Probably past it's use by date. The restaurant caters for fine dining and that excludes the likes of us who... More

Charming hotel where Proust might have stayed had he stopped off for the night in Cahors (not sure that he ever went to the sud-ouest!). I liked the fact that the hotel has not been tarted up too much. However it would be great if the next furniture purchases were more in keeping with the period (not that they are... More

Hotel is ok, but it's best days are behind it. The rooms in the hotel could do with updating and it has a sense of faded grandeur. The room looked out over the railway station as the name suggests which was nice, but there was a large modern block of flats to the left which spollt the view.Staff were frienly... More

Lovely old period building. Nice spacious rooms, extremely friendly staff, superb cuisine, well stocked bar with local products, we originally booked 1 night before taking a boat down the Lot River so stayed again on our return. Highly recommend.
