The 'Terminus' hotel is near the trainstation. No noise, but only the benefit if you want to travel around (Toulouse; 7,50€ one way). The hotel is in a classic french building, with glass and lead windows. Good service, nice beds and on walking distance to the centre! I think the best hotel in Cahors, after seen a few!

You would never find this hotel unless you knew where it was. It is close to the railway station, about 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. Lets get the one negative out of the way first...... our room was looking a little tired and in need of a lick of paint. Had that not been the case then... More

Too scruffy to be quaint. Too expensive to eat in and the weirdest heating system we've ever come across. The building was probably the best in town in the 1930's but hasn't been sympathetically maintained since by the look of it. Probably past it's use by date. The restaurant caters for fine dining and that excludes the likes of us who... More

Charming hotel where Proust might have stayed had he stopped off for the night in Cahors (not sure that he ever went to the sud-ouest!). I liked the fact that the hotel has not been tarted up too much. However it would be great if the next furniture purchases were more in keeping with the period (not that they are... More

Hotel is ok, but it's best days are behind it. The rooms in the hotel could do with updating and it has a sense of faded grandeur. The room looked out over the railway station as the name suggests which was nice, but there was a large modern block of flats to the left which spollt the view.Staff were frienly... More

Lovely old period building. Nice spacious rooms, extremely friendly staff, superb cuisine, well stocked bar with local products, we originally booked 1 night before taking a boat down the Lot River so stayed again on our return. Highly recommend.

I stayed here for two nights at the beginning of a bike trip around the Lot and Tarn region, and another two at the end. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Mine had a magnificent old bath with shower fitting. Staff very helpful and friendly and will speak English at a pinch, but very tolerant of my atrocious French. Cahors itself... More

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a touring holiday. We knew that we would like the place when we saw the hotel sign; it looked like original 1920s to us. The traditional theme is carried on inside; some might consider the decoration to be dated and in need of modernisation, but we loved it. Breakfast was excellent... More

Thios is a great hotel for access to the town and particularly the Cahors Blues Festival, for which we used it. It has an excellent restaurant and the rooms are clean and well looked after. There is a very friendly atmosphere with very helpful staff.

This is a beautiful old hotel which has been modernised and is very comfortable. Our room was spotless with an excellent bathroom. The staff spoke good English and were also kind enough to put up with my bad French. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on the Sunday we stayed and it's quite a hike into town. I think they should... More
