From check in with a beautifully groomed and spoken lady with impeccable English, we were made to feel welcome. Our suite was complete with a huge claw footed bath with the original plumbing and whilst we missed an overhead shower, the comfortable bed, plentiful hot water and old world charm more than compensated.

We had a one night stopover in Cahors and chose this hotel from the Lonely Planet guide. Family run hotel. Art Deco style. Lovely large spacious room. Good bathroom. Very friendly and helpful service. Fab food in their restaurant - fine dining! Tea or coffee in the room would have been nice - but that was no big deal and... More

Do not accept room 16 if the weather is hot. It is an attic room and extremely hot even with the feeble air con. Badly in need of a total refurbishment. The fake floor boards are peeling and not good to walk on. The bathroom is a good size with a miniscule shower. The shutters need a paint and won't... More

We stopped 2nights here. Very quiet. Great bath although the drain had come loose from the main bath and we had a few gallons of water on the bathroom floor. Although opposite the train station no noise to disturb due to modern double glazing.

Wes Anderson would surely love the cheerful goofiness of this hotel, with its pastel colors and old-fashioned touches. It's not at all grand, like the Grand Budapest, but there's just the hint of a link to the old world, and even the people -- the petite, stylish brunette at the front desk and the formally attired headwaiter in the restaurant... Stopped here for one night. Had a room at the top of the hotel, so no wifi available, but got it in the lounge area downstairs, wasn't the end of the world though. Nice toiletries, and nice staff who all spoke English. We didn't eat at the hotel, but there was plenty close by.Very comfortable bed, and quaint hotel, full... More

Stayed for one night on a road trip, great experience. Situated a 5 minute walk from the top of the main road in Cahors, Leon Gambetta. The hotel is close enough to where the town is busy, but also far enough away that it is quiet at night time. All the staff were excellent and friendly. We finished our night off... More

The 'Terminus' hotel is near the trainstation. No noise, but only the benefit if you want to travel around (Toulouse; 7,50€ one way). The hotel is in a classic french building, with glass and lead windows. Good service, nice beds and on walking distance to the centre! I think the best hotel in Cahors, after seen a few!

You would never find this hotel unless you knew where it was. It is close to the railway station, about 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. Lets get the one negative out of the way first...... our room was looking a little tired and in need of a lick of paint. Had that not been the case then... More

Too scruffy to be quaint. Too expensive to eat in and the weirdest heating system we've ever come across. The building was probably the best in town in the 1930's but hasn't been sympathetically maintained since by the look of it. Probably past it's use by date. The restaurant caters for fine dining and that excludes the likes of us who... More
