This is a great hotel in a really good location. It has a big car park outside the hotel, rooms are good, complete with Bar fridge, always nice to have. The bed was surprising wonderful, and the bathroom roomy with a shower not over the bath, water pressure was good. There was an air conditioner but as it was not... More

Our second experience of a 'Logis' hotel was diametrically opposite from our first. Having read previous reviews on line we were prepared for the '80's' facade but bitterly disappointed by what lay beyond. On arrival we upgraded our room to river view, which seemed sensible given thehotels location on the Lot. Room 227 had a small balcony and tiny bathroom... More

Don't let the exterior turn you off, this hotel is in a great location, and although tired outside and in the lobby area, it's in a perfect location, has wonderful cuisine in its restaurant and a nice bar, is staffed by helpful and friendly people, and is ideal for parking your car (free), and walking to all the great parts... Not only is this hotel close to the train station - maybe 100 meters - it is within about a 20 min walk into town for restaurants, sights, and other amenities. The room was super clean, large, and very comfortable. We would stay here again. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Price Service Cleanliness Location All of these boxes are ticked and get a full score. The 80's neon lights almost looks cool together with their new interior. The carpets in the hallways are old, and so are many other details of the hotel. But that probably keeps the price down. The Hotel is cleaner than a heart surgery clinic, it... More

As other reviewers noted, this hotel is across the bridge from the old town. this was fine with us as we had a car and had learned the hard way to stay out of midieval city centers. There was free parking at the hotel and an easy walk back into town. Price was very good for a small, but clean... More

Stayed here on the 26th September. Very pleasant welcome. Very comfortable bed. Outside illuminated neon sign with hotel name was lacking several characters where bulb replacement was required. Makes the place look like it is a bit run down (which it is). No tea/coffee machine as is the case in France in the majority of hotels. On the other hand,... More

This is a pleasant, modernised building south of the river from town centre of Cahors. Most rooms have little balconies looking out over the river towards the centre of the town. Staff were pleasant and professional and the wifi worked well. It is within easy walking distance of the centre of the town (500m) though at peak times the traffic... More

We stayed at the La Chartreuse in Cahors for one night when we were visiting this historically interesting town on the river Lot. The hotel overlooks the Lot and is ideally situated for walking and sight seeing. Staff at the hotel did all that was needed of them but with a diffidence we have sadly come to expect in this... Nice hotel with fabulous views over the river (alongside). Great staff and nice restaurant but no English on the menu. Nice room with a Fridge BUT, no tea/coffee making facilities. We had to remove the duvet from within the sheet 'envelope' as it was way too hot - we've had this problem with 90% of the hotels !!
