As other reviewers noted, this hotel is across the bridge from the old town. this was fine with us as we had a car and had learned the hard way to stay out of midieval city centers. There was free parking at the hotel and an easy walk back into town. Price was very good for a small, but clean... More

Stayed here on the 26th September. Very pleasant welcome. Very comfortable bed. Outside illuminated neon sign with hotel name was lacking several characters where bulb replacement was required. Makes the place look like it is a bit run down (which it is). No tea/coffee machine as is the case in France in the majority of hotels. On the other hand,... More

This is a pleasant, modernised building south of the river from town centre of Cahors. Most rooms have little balconies looking out over the river towards the centre of the town. Staff were pleasant and professional and the wifi worked well. It is within easy walking distance of the centre of the town (500m) though at peak times the traffic... More

We stayed at the La Chartreuse in Cahors for one night when we were visiting this historically interesting town on the river Lot. The hotel overlooks the Lot and is ideally situated for walking and sight seeing. Staff at the hotel did all that was needed of them but with a diffidence we have sadly come to expect in this... Nice hotel with fabulous views over the river (alongside). Great staff and nice restaurant but no English on the menu. Nice room with a Fridge BUT, no tea/coffee making facilities. We had to remove the duvet from within the sheet 'envelope' as it was way too hot - we've had this problem with 90% of the hotels !!

Entered Cahors from the south saw the hotel next to the river. Booked in for one night excellent room on the third floor overlooking the river complete with balcony and king size bed. Had a very good meal and bottle of wine on the terrace very pleasant. Had such a comfortable night decided to stay longer. Stayed for five nights.... More

This hotel was the last of 4 we stayed in during our trip to the area. We were not expecting anything amazing as it is a very uninteresting concrete building with none of the obvious French charms of the Lot! However it turned out to be the best. We had a spacious room and bathroom with a small balcony overlooking... More

Tranquil location just down the road from the main road through Cahors, over the picturesque bridge. Plenty of parking outside, slope into the hotmail for wheelchairs and lift too. Our room was for disabled and had a very large floor level roll in shower and there were plastic chairs in the room to use in the shower too- perfect.( room... More

We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the town. The hotel is a short, pleasant walk across a bridge to the new and old town of Cahors. The outside of the hotel is nothing to write home about but the interior is comfortable and clean. Our rooms were very newly reburbished, clean and comfortable as was the... More

Nice location with views from the room on the river and riverside dining. Dining was good, but breakfast was poorly managed. Rooms have adequate size and good beds. No secure parking. Close to interesting old city centre of Cahors. We used it as a stop-over hotel but there is no straight access to the motorway.
