Great location in the centre right and on the edge of the old town with its narrow streets and half timbered buildings plus of course the cathedral and the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum. Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Our room was large and functional without frills. Downside is the difficulty in finding the hotel by car (it's off the road... More

The hotel is very well located in the center of Albi at a walkable distance all the city's main attractions. For 8 euros you can have a 24 hours ticket for the underground parking just outside the hotel which is valid even after check out. As negative, only the weak WiFi network signal that is not a problem if you... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in the centre of Albi.Within a 15 minute Stroll you can reach every site worth visiting in the centre. The rooms are simple, but clean and adequate. For lunch or dinner you will have to go outside the hotel, the brasserie adjacent bears the same name, but is not part of the... More

The staff was very helpful and friendly yet I'm glad my wife could speak French with them. The hotel location is easily walkable to the sights of Albi. Our quiet, clean, large room over-looked a quiet, picturesque lane. As others have mentioned the trick is to locate the underground, protected, free parking. On the 2nd time driving along the main... We stayed for 2 nights in early October. We had arranged for private parking in their private garage but even with the location, we could not get to it. We went into the public parking at the underground entrance just beside the hotel on the main street, got the directions which were needed because a GPS would not be up... More

...We left the Dordogne and drove to Albi, to see the amazing red brick Cathedral, for which the town is famous for. Having booked the Hotel du Vigan, and writing to them, we knew of the under-ground car park. We emerged on the other side of the public square right in front of the Hotel! We were given a quiet... We have stayed here a couple of times now whilst visiting the area and cannot fault this hotel. The staff are all very friendly and even though not all can speak English they try their upmost to help. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equiped. Step out of the hotel straight in to the restauarants and cafes next door... More

What a great find, incredibly well-located right in the heart of Albi, on a nice pedestrian square and three minutes from the cathedral. Rooms pretty simple, but spacious. Super-efficient and helpful staff, and a breakfast really worth the extra (go for the hotel breakfast, not the bistro downstairs). Best of our whole cycle tour...

The location of this hotel is excellent to enjoy all the attractions that Albi has to offer, in particular its proximity to the Lautrec museum and Church and walking distance to the outdoor pedestrian mall. The prices are reasonable and the staff cordial and helpful. Actually we were recommended a very good restaurant nearby. Also, for "gelato" lovers, there is... More

Clean, quiet and in an excellent location, reasonably priced. The room we booked and were subsequently offered had a bath but only a 'hand held shower' - not my preference! However, a quick visit to the reception desk and the friendly staff quickly upgraded us to a larger room with a shower cubicle for a small fee. The underground car... More
