An excellent choice for my stay In Verdun. Facilities are the same as in any other hotelF1s, though this is the nicest so far where I stayed. The hotel is located at a 20-30 minutes from Verdun's city center, which is safe to walk also in the late evening hours. There are several supermarkets close-by as well an excellent restaurant.... The guy on reception was really cheerful and helpful and the lady on in the morning very good too. Place was spotlessly clean. No problems with access. In addition if you stay here you can get 15% discount at the Buffalo Grill restaurant two doors down and there are discounts for other local restaurants too. Budget priced breakfast was also... Standard F1 offering. Double room with bunk, washbasin, TV. Showers and toilets down the corridor. Don't be too picky about the 'facilities' - you are sharing with all manner of people and the cleanliness may not be of the high standard you would get if you paid 5 star prices. The room, however, was very clean and pleasant, and the... More

This place is fine if you are not looking for any luxury. Can`t knock F1 Properties as you know what you are going to get... Double bed with and Overhead bunk, Toilet and Shower rooms just down the corridor. Breakfast fine for under 4 Euros paid. Glad to have a hire car as long walk into town, there is a... More

Stayed at the cheap F1 for our visit to the French WW1 battles of 1915. The hotels in the centre were expensive so we opted for the 30 Euro a night room for 3 persons, which is great value. The rooms are tiny with a double and bunk, about a 15 minute walk to centre Verdun, with its selection of... More

We stayed here one night while touring Verdun battlefields. The hotel was quite difficult to find as they are doing roadwork in front of the hotel and traffic is detoured away from this road. There is a fery small hand-lettered sign directing you toward the hotel - so ask directions if needed. The room is extremely minimalist. No AC, but... More

I have just returned from my first visit to the Verdun Battlefields. I arrived on Armistice day, which seemed a fitting start to my discovery of the battlefields. I found the Motel ideally situated for trips out to the various forts and battlefields around Verdun. It is easily found, being located on the outskirts of the City, just follow the... More

It was my first time at a Formula 1 hotel and for the money, it wasn't bad. You get a clean, secure room with the European Sports channel for 28 Euros. The Le Coq Hardi was full, so I just needed a place to crash. Even the shower down the hall was fine with good water pressure and plenty of... More
