A simple hotel great for a stopover, we found it quite and clean with a nice breakfast buffet and very friendly owner who was pleased to give us helpful local information. It lies just outside of the town with ample parking facilities and easy access to the main roads.

I enjoyed my stay here. It's quite far out of town, but that's fine. It feels very... French, and I love that. Breakfast was basic, but good, in a nice cafe-like setting. My stay was August 2013, but the app seeing key me go back that far!

Just right, considering that we wanted a good base for touring the Verdun battlefields. Staff were very helpful. A basic "travellers' hotel/motel". No-way ostentatious; fine for workers, commercial travellers and tourists who want something with no frills. Staff recommended a restaurant 10 minutes drive away ("Red Robin"? and that was just fine for us)

A nice hotel for a good price. The WIFI was very fast which is as far as I am concerned not always the case in hotels. The room and toilet were very clean. I didn't try the breakfast but 7.50 Euro doesn't sound to bad. Theres a large Supermarket 2 min drive away. The Douaumont Fort ist about 15 min... More

Staying at this hotel made a real impression. You definitively are not far from that unforgettable place. Don't expect any luxury from this hotel. It is simple and by no way pretentious. No high standard, but ok rooms and an fully acceptable breakfast. Hotel is located along the road, ask for a room on the opposite side.

The hotel was as advertised and on par with all of the reviews I read. The hotel staff were very courteous and the room was clean. The Wi-Fi signal was very strong and the bed was comfortable. Overall a good deal for the price and fairly close (walking distance) to downtown Verdun. My only real complaint was the breakfast or... More

I have probably stayed in a worse room somewhere in the world, but I can't remember when? We had no choice but to book, it was the only room on offer for our stopover between Bavaria and Calais. So we took the last remaining room, meant for a family. Very large and in the annex, which is like a cement... More

My friends and I are WW1 history fans and we went to see the forts surrounding Verdun. I checked around and found this hotel, it looked clean and comfortable and in exactly the right place for our tour. But as we all know pictures can be deceiving and misleading. We had traveled from Doncaster to Ypres in Belgium then traveled... More

Looks like a 'classic' French hotel from the images however is very tired. Located on the edge of town. Room was in an extension from the main building. This was obviously built on a budget, Lino flooring everywhere which contributed to noise levels. Breakfast very basic, save your money and use a more modern 'budget' hotel. Didn't meet my expectations... More
