Despite the fact that there's a 'no smoking'-sign at the entrance, the rooms smell like a full ashtray. We requested another (non-smoking) room, but we were bluntly refused one. Our complaints that the smell was horrendous was brushed of like we were just a bunch of whining guests. We've never been treated as rude as we were here, both by... More

It's soul less and without character but it's a cheap chain hotel near Verdun. I am sure there are some privately owned ones at the same price level. Breakfast is not great. Nearby restaurants are nothing to write home about either.

Hotel is typical, not worthy of mention really. However, the independently owned local restaurant, Poivre Rouge, is outstanding. Best mixed grill in ages! Loads of front of house staff and the quality of the produce was simply terrific. Would go again!

If you are looking for a stopover whilst visiting the WW1 battlefields this will fit the bill, it is no frills with the just the basics but is good value for money - free wifi is a huge bonus and it is not too far from the battlefields.

Booked 4 rooms at this hotel en route to Germany. One of the rooms absolutely stank of cigarette smoke. When this was brought to the attention of the lady at reception it was met with pure apathy, and told we couldn't have a different room. The same room then had an air on malfunction at 0230 in the morning giving... More

We were a bit apprehensive about staying here after reading some reviews but thought this hotel was fine for the price for an overnight stay breaking a journey to Moselle region. Sat nav took us to hotel okay. We had prebooked 3 rooms by internet for around 53 Euros per room. Handed booking reference over to receptionist who provided codes... More

Ample free parking, good breakfast. Rooms very simple but clean; good value for money. Slightly odd location on an industrial/retail park but actually not too bad for catering in the evening. Overall good value for money. Our main problem was that after a long days motorcycling across country the address supplied by a certain company we booked with was massively... More

This hotel was our first experience of an Ibis Budget hotel ! It was very clean, a good breakfast and there is a free car park. The rooms were "cosy" and gave us the impression of a ferry boat cabin - fine for one night, but very little storage space for a longer stay - but we were just passing... More

Staff don't speak English, room was not what we booked, when questioned told we could not have what we booked which was a 3 person room and that we should take the double bed room and share bed. Eventually given 3 person room, had to make our own beds. 1 stool was in room for 3 people. No space for... More

We had stayed at at least on of the regular Ibis hotels on our three week tour of France and found one that was new, rated good and was inexpensive at Verdun, This one is the budget brand, they use vinyl flooring in the hall and the rooms so it doesn't get stained, the furnishing in the room were very...
