We stayed two nights in Metz at the Alerion hotel. The hotel is centrally located across from the magnificent railway station. There is convenient underground parking across the street. It is not very visible, and it feels as if you are driving across the edge of the railway plaza to get in. The people at the reception were very helpful,... More

My wife and I stayed at the Alerion Hotel for 5 nights in September. The hotel was across the street from the train station and was very convenient. The room was very lovely, clean and quiet. The staff was amazing, specially a man named Robert who took a lot of time with us. He gave us many excellent locations to... More

This hotel is facing the station in Metz. We didn't hear any noise from trains and our room overlooked the station building which is quite impressive. The room was spacious and clean and good value for money

This hotel is located in a very pretty neighborhood close to the train station. It's well furnished, very clean and with a friendly staff who went out of their way for us. There's several restaurants close by and the Pizza place right next door is quite good. Although close to the station we heard no noise at all and I... More

The entrance to the hotel is just off the station square, and initially involves going up a flight of stairs to reception. You don't get the passcode for the elevator from the ground floor until after you check in. We had a large clean double room overlooking the square. The breakfast buffet was good. Good, free wifi. The entrance to... More

The staff at this hotel are wonderful. They helped me to find where I wanted to go, made suggestions of things to see and were always smiling. This hotel has only 2 stars but the service deserves 4. My room was a triple and while it was great for me, it would be difficult to have 3 people in this... More

Friendly staff, but not a 2 star hotel. Old rooms, bad shower, small toilet. Our room smelled and I had to hunt the flies. Wifi is free for basic tasks, if you need more bandwidth you have to pay extra. Parking is possible in the public underground parking, at a discount of 8 euro a day.

Dear Sir, We are very surprised to see that you're not satisfied of your trip because during your stay you never asked to change room or never told us about a problem. You had to know that we are really a 2 stars hotel and we could be 3 stars. Metz is an expensive city and you booked a "budget... More

If you want a 2 star hotel- small room, small elevator, no amenities (tissue, body lotion, etc), no view this is the place for you! The breakfast was fine- nothing special, but the reception desk was wonderfully helpful. A total 2 star experience- at a 2 star price. Location is very convenient to the train station and the Centre Pompidou,... More

I stayed at this hotel for 6 days. It is located just near the railway station but and you need to spend about 10 minutes to reach the city center. Staff were really friendly, and there is only one negative impression caused by my room. First of all, it was warm inside even when window was open. And also my... More

Had a lovely three days in Metz. The city is beautiful, lovely weather when we were there. Lots of fine restaurants and the Cathedral and daily markets are musts Hotel was definitely three star but the absence of air conditioning was a killer. Would have happily paid a supplement. As it was we had three nights of open windows facing... More
