We stayed for 2 nights in the Hotel La Citadelle. The parking is in front of the hotel entrance, what was very convenient. The Lobby is not spectacular, but friendly and efficient. The hotel is very modern and lies in a nice neighborhood and near the old town. The room was very spacious and you could also open a window.... More

We booked as a family of four and were only able to check in at 3.30pm after basically pushing the receptionist to do something about getting the room ready. This was silly as we booked a family room. The room service is very limited and expensive. We basically ordered take out to get some child friendly food that was actually... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very close to the Old City center. I did not expect Metz to be a charming as it was. The restaurant serves very nice gourmet food. The staff attended to all our needs and are room was nice but not overly large. I would stay here again if I had the... More

This is a beautiful old building within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. Parking outside and next to a giant underground lot. The restaurant has a Michelin star, so only go there if you want really expensive, rich food served on silver platters. Not good for a light supper. Very expensive. The breakfast was less than average with coffee that... More

Stayed in Metz because we visited family living there. Chose La Citadelle on rating and car parking availability. We were surprised at how lovely Metz is, with a variety of things to do. (Just a shame that the French people are not very helpful as when asking for directions due to roadworks, they were quite dismissive)The hotel is centrally located, within... More
