More than a hotel, it is an experience of homestay. The building is very very old with small entrance, gigantic staircase, no elevators and best part are the large rooms. Do not carry heavy luggages, you'll be tired of climbing the stairs.

The doorway and reception area were not terribly enticing, dark and dusty with an Addams family style chandelier to greet you. The best place to stay in Metz! Be sure you pay the small amount extra to get a cathedral view - especially stunning at night! Right in the centre, a great base for exploring the city. Beautiful, traditional style rooms, with stunning wooden ceilings. 2nd time staying - and will definitely be returning! Friendly and helpful staff!

We booked this hotel for it's location. Parking is at a large garage across from the Catherdral. Our room overlooked the caltherdal which is exactly what we wanted.
