An old hotel with a lot of charm, our room had an amazing view of the cathedral and I totally enjoyed looking at it, whether it was day or night. It is well located and a short walk from most places, except the Centre Pompidou Metz.

This hotel is very old, but with that said, the rooms were very well done, and modern as much as you would like. The rooms were architecturally neat with structural beams through the two rooms we rented. We stayed in the Annex which had no lifts, so just need to be able to carry up your luggage. The bathroom had... More

We stayed in the annexe building on the third floor and had views of the cathedral. The hotel is very quirky and romantic. The room was of a good size and clean. Some of the staff don't speak English but they tried their best to communicate with us. Breakfast is quite basic with a big range of fruit. There is... More

Next to the Cathedrale, with good parking options. Friendly people, nice, tasteful furnishing, nice big room. The beds were excellent, bathroom good, i only hate it if there is no shower curtain, typically French. The best however, was the breakfast buffet. Absolutely the best and best value for money. All in all, for a 3 star hotel really value for... More

Chose this because of view of cathedral. Nice view, but impossible noise. Road in front is major morning artery; noise starts about 0630. OK breakfast. On the other hand the young staff are very helpful and most pleasant. Try a back room.

Charming boutique hotel , situated next to the Cathedral. Room decoration is old style but functional. No elevators. We had a nice quiet room on an inner court. Bathroom small ( shower ) but very functional. Price was 109 Euros. ( including a nice breakfast for two ). A good restaurant is connected to the hotel. One of the receptionist is... More

Very centrally located, lovely historic building absolutely oozing character. We had a large room overlooking the cathedral. The decor and furniture was very much in keeping with the age of the property. There was a lovely little terrace centrally located on the first floor, excellent for relaxing. The room was very clean and had all the facilities we required for... More

If you are looking for the predictable sterile comfort of the chain hotels this isn't for you but if you want old world character with clean comfortable rooms with good size bath rooms we definitely recommend this place. It's Europe and particularly France so parking and getting bags to the hotel takes some effort as you need to park just... More

Stopped over on the way back to the UK. There are two car parks near the hotel, One outdoors and one indoors, the indoor one is slightly more expensive, not much though. The hotel is great I really liked it, spooky old a different to ones I have stayed in before. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was also.... More

Contrary to most other contributors, I would not recommend this hôtel at all, certainly not on the basis of our stay in room 302. The photos on the hotel’s site give you a false impression of a classy hôtel. This is not the case. Our room was run-down and devoid of charm: - the furniture was heteroclite and of flea-market...
