stayed on 2 overnight visits on our way to Austria and return. Manager very friendly and welcomed us back as if we were regular visitors. Even waved us off!!. Small hotel but situated right in the heart of metz so really convenient. Breakfast was very good. No Bar but did sell a small selection of drinks from a chiller.

Stayed for one night due to proximity of central shopping area & railway station within 10 minutes walk in a twin room, which was clean and functional. The room overlooked the pedestrian street which was noisy at night, but was quiet and featured a basic standard shower, separate toilet room. There wasn't any temperature adjustment, so on a warm night... More

Arriving by car one feels like royalty as the hotel is in an otherwise pedestrian only street right in the centre of the city. Rooms are very large and well appointed. Serve is excellent. Very quiet. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money.

I wasn't going to rate this hotel because terrible is an understatement..... This hotel is by far the worst hotel i have ever had the displeasure of staying in. There are no air conditioning in the rooms which is bad enough but we were only staying the night and could just about accommodate. However the noise level from the night... More

This is a good hotel, very central but noisy at night as well. No air-conditioning but the room is pretty. breakfast is not included into the 95 euro price and parking is extra. So the value is ok but not great..

Spent one night at the Grand Hotel de Metz. It was a lucky find, right in the centre with small car park where staff will park for you. The receptionist was a true gentleman, friendly and helpful. You could not find a more central hotel, the Cathedral is close by and there are lots to see and do. Breakfast was... More

Well situated in the center of shopping and other activities. You can drive your car to the hotel and unload your belongings. The parking is in a huge parking cave some blocks away. The room was spacious, tidy and met all expectations you can have for the affordable price we had booked it for. The Internet (W-lan) worked with a... More

I see the other reviews and not everyone loved it but we did. Great location, room small but nicely done.We would return. Have a coffee in the cafe opposite Les Halles which was the best we had all holiday.

Stayed here about 8 years ago wasn't great then now worse. Bathroom and toilet built into bedroom, very small. Can touch the door when sitting on the pot. Noise carries through the hotel from adjacent rooms and corridors, breakfast adequate. Central location but Metz is quite compact so other hotels would be fine for location

Surprisingly large hotel with maze like corridors. Decent rooms and facilities but decor and appliances dated. It's location and deal with the large parking nearby makes it an affordable one night stop, but no longer than that.
