Hotel are clean and have a big room, but the not friendly staff, even they cannot speak English, I cannot believe, the restaurant close for dinner, hospitality are poor, you can only use it for transit, no way to spend more than a nite here

Thank you fot letting us know your feeling about our hotel Mercure Metz centre. We apologize for the met dysfunctions. For weekends and holidays our restaurant is closed, however we propose a choice of pastas, house made Quiche Lorraine , smoked salmon, housemade farm pate.... On the other hand, numerous restaurants very close to the hotel are opened. Best regards... More

Metz is a good stop either travelling from or to the UK. Although it may look dated, this well located hotel has ample parking and the rooms were newly renovated, everything was clean and worked well. The staff were courteous and most helpfull and the breakfast was very good with an ample choice items. The main part of the city... More

We stayed here for two nights for a weekend trip to Metz. We booked this hotel because of the location, price and the convenient parking directly at the hotel. The hotel´s architecture does not win any prices, but the interior of the room we were in was quite decent and had a modern feeling to it. The size was ok... More

i was drawn to this hotel through a combination of good price (on booking.com), city centre location, secure parking and a promise of a decent room. It did not let us down. Our room was clearly newly refurbished and everything worked fine. The bed was comfy, all was clean. We stayed on a Saturday, and were a bit disappointed that... More

I stayed there with my wife and our daughter for 1 night last Friday. Location is good enough, 5-7 minutes of walk to the center. Hotel personnel is very pleasant. Restaurant works until 23:00 and they cook delicious dishes for average prices. Must admit they have free onsite parking which is located behind hotel. (don't forget to pick the ticket... More

Quite a trial to find despite sat nav due to Metz city centres one way streets. Parking good, though the car park is very scruffy. It was in a good location with a nice "square" in front, just a few minutes away from the centre of town. The hotel is quite old and our room was a little dated, but... More

First thing first: When a hotel charges you a 4-star rate and provides you with less, matter-of-factish you're mad. This is not a bad hotel but it is overrated. And now to a less emotional analysis. It's location is very good. Just 500 m from the Railway Station and close to the City Center. When you arrive to the railway... More

Fairly standard Mercure, but in a good way, Close to all shops and eateries. The only problem with the stay was the water cut one day which they only put notes in the lifts and did not as hotels normally do put notes under the door of each room, therefore I heard a few complaints and some people were mid-shower... Just needed a hotel on our way down our way to Provence, we turned up late in the evening and the staff was friendly and accommodating. They also managed to find a on-site parking for us even if they were completely full. Big and clean rooms, decor maybe a bit dated, but for the price we payed (€90) this is... More
