Rooms are large and comfortable. Tv not modern but adequate with two foreign news channels in English. Breakfast excellent and well priced. A 15 minute walk downtown and to the main station, but near two important museums. Nice walk along the Rhine. Part of hotel faces the Rhine.

very close to station and convenient for trams. very noisy nights from other guests but this is not the fault of the very helpful man on reception, who was very friendly and knowledgable of local restaurants etc. breakfast was the best thing about this hotel,.

This "hotel is ideally situated in Metz and this is its only quality. Rooms are in horrible condition, old linen, bathroom is dirty, wall are so thin that you hear everything that happens in neighbour rooms. I have to add that the same building hosts an erotic club so there is lot to be heard in neighbour rooms. Personal is... More

Lets start with good points !! - plenty of hot water - thats it. Room was disgusting - wallpaer of walls - holes in walls - holes in furniture and bedding - carpet !!!! well !!! - dont know how we actually stayed the night - to add insult to injury after evening stroll round town we were asked to... I liked Hotel Foch, until it came to sleeping at least. It's one of those bare bones family-style hotels that the French do so well. Nothing fancy about it at all. Rooms are just a room with a bed and a simple bathroom or shower. But the reception is staffed 24 hours and they do a perfectly nice French breakfast;... More

This is a slightly shabby budget hotel that sits on one of the nicer boulevards in Metz. The biggest downside with this hotel is that it needs renovated, that is not to say that it is in a bad condition more that everything looks a bit tired and worn. Also the design leaves quite a lot of be desired, for... More

We found Hotel Foch quite late, after a long and wearisome search around Nancy. We were greeted warmly by the owner and given a very small but clean, warm and quiet room on the 3rd floor, reached by a lift. The shower was rather primitive (hand-held) and we had one small and two medium-sized towels between us, but we managed.... More

Stayed overnight on the way to Italy. Shabby (not chic). Left early without eating the breakfast. It's cheap for a reason.

I needed a hotel for just one night near Nancy Railway Station. As I was travelling on my own, at 59 euros including breakfast, Hotel Foch fitted my budget. The hotel is tucked down an alley very close to the Railway Station. There is no lobby to speak of but there is a lift. The room size was adequate though... More

First and foremost, the staff was amazing. The two men at the front desk could not have been more helpful and pleasant. The outside of the building was beautiful and the hotel was centrally located. The reason we stayed here was because of how close it was to the train station (5-7 min walking) and the price (59 euros). Unfortunately,... More
