Stayed here for two nights and booked here based on trip advisor feedback and also some limitations in Nancy for more upscale hotels. I have rated the place very good but only because of the warm welcome of staff and the overall friendliness of those who work here. First the pluses for this hotel: good location 1 minute walk to... You feel like you have really arrived in France here. We had a one night stopover, and I think 2 or 3 nights would be tops though. The rooms are charming, right up to the shower, well …. being more of a bath. Everything worked well, and you really know you are in an old building, including the squeaky floor... More

We stayed in the suite on the 3rd floor--it was enormous and great for our family. Hotel is located within 5 minutes of Stanislaus square. Bed was very comfortable, staff was lovely, hotel is clean, would stay again. Would not take the breakfast option as there are loads of bakeries nearby, or go to the square and the restaurants there... More

I am content with this small hotel with a lot of characters. It is within my budget €110 for a twin room (our room no. was 332). the staff was friendly and helpful giving info for a quick nice lunch nearby. The bathroom was very clean, typical french style - shower within the bathtub. Room was relative small but sufficient.... More

Old, old renovated hotel beside the cathedral and steps to Stanislas Square. Building is old, room is small but the bathroom had all new fixtures, the bed was new and the most comfortable I d slept in in 3 weeks. Great breakfast buffet.

This is a great, renovated 15th century building next to the cathedral in Nancy. The rooms are nicely redone. We had an end one with a substantial amount of formerly exterior stone wall. It sits on a busy street, but noise was minimal. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is fairly close to the train station, virtually across from Stanislaus... More

We stayed here for one night on our way back to Calais from Alsace. The location is excellent with the main sights being within easy walking distance. Parking across the road was simple and convenient. The room was comfortable and quiet. This is not always the case in city centre hotels. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Front of house... Very nice hotel in an old house (XVIIth century) on a small square near the cathedral. We slept there twice. Nice rooms, excellent bed, nice bathroom with bathtub but no fridge. Free wifi. Very good breakfast looking into a flowery garden. Very pleasant staff. The cherry on top was that we could park for the night right in front of... More

The room was really lovely, well decorated with a four poster bed and a great bathroom. There was a bath that had mixer taps with shower, but not the facility for a stand up shower (not unless you have someone prepared to shower you down!) There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which was disappointing. The... More
