Bad location, on a busy avenue at the outskirts of Nancy, at 30 min walking distance from the city center. Very friendly host, whom made us dinner reservations at the excellent brasserie L'institut in the old town, packed with locals. Rooms are apart and luxurious, but the linnen and heat made sleeping a challenge (without airco op fan). Garden is... More

The place is nice and the service is very friendly and helpful. Fantastic art collection, very creative and beautiful. I expected a little more for the money we paid. There is no fridge in the room, which makes it very hard to plan for your dinner if you don't want to go out. I am a huge animal lover, but... More

We stayed at La Villa 1901 on the first visit in Nancy, that was correct. 5 stops by tramway from SNCF station, very convenient for Exploring Art Nouveau architectures, sightseeing and shopping. Isabel the owner of the Chambre d'hôte was complete English speaker, politely explained about hotel facilities and room for breakfast, moreover she made reservation for our dinner including... More

Unfortunately we only had one night in La Villa, but would happily return. Isabelle is a charming hostess - always able to provide information if asked, but not over-bearing or sycophantic. The house itself is an utterly stunning mixture of genuine Art Nouveau and juxtaposed modern elements. Breakfast was delicious - with plenty of homemade touches - and served in... More

We spent a week in this fantastic B&B and our hostess Isabelle made our stay all the more delightful. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, the garden is peaceful and the breakfast is delicious! Isabelle made sure that we were comfortable at all times and gave us great suggestions on things to do in and around town. Our week in... More

If you're going to Nancy, look no further. Isabelle is a wonderful hostess, La Villa is truly charming with a wonderful decor. The breakfast is far too tempting to resist, and the garden is not a bad place for a picnic after a morning exploring the city. If you have dinner plans as Isabelle to make the reservations for you... More

Our stay in September 2013 was fabulous. Isabelle and her husband are extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. The breakfast was beautifully presented and was 5 star ... it included homemade jams, seasonal fruits and compote, fresh orange juice, breads and pastries. Isabelle's recommendations for dining options were faultless. La Villa is within easy and flat walking distance to Stanislas Place,... More

My husband and I had a 2 night stay in this stylish house, great amenities, pleasant and welcoming hostess. Our room overlooking the lovely garden had everything we needed for a luxury stay and the bed so comfortable. Breakfast was a treat with yummy breads and pastries, home made yogurt and jams. We used the secure garden parking for a... More

I had heard and seen pictures about the beauty of this hotel before, but the experience of being there was much more impressive than expected. The personality and elegance of Isabelle, the owner, is present in all the details of the decoration, large rooms, garden and breakfast. She and her husband are very friendly, we felt as if we were... More

The design of the house is great, very stylish. The quality of all the room amenities is top notch. The breakfast was good and served in a nicely decorated room filled with natural light. The only downside to our total experience was the fact that the hostess was busy chatting with other guests at the breakfast and forgot to show... More
