Opposite the church in a hilltop village, once well outside Nancy, this is a most attractive place to stay if you are passing through or if you don't want to wrestle with Nancy city center traffic, parking or noise. We parked in the hotel's own private parking lot before the charming owner gave us a large and spotless room with... More

We were really looking forward to staying here, as the photographs looked lovely, and as there was also a restaurant it seemed perfect for our overnight stay on our way home from Italy. Our first disappointment was that our restaurant booking was cancelled a week before even though we had made our reservation several weeks before, however they did offer... More

We travel a lot and seldom have we been in a more pretentious place. The good point: great bed, large room, good shower. nice garden. BUT: the theme is design and at a first glance the effect is nice and good fun, but unfortunately comfort has been sacrificed to design. For instance: only one very wobbly bedside table, a ridiculous... More

We were on our way south on motorcycles and secure parking was a must for us as well as convenience to the Autoroutes. I was pleased to find the hotel though the google maps were a little misleading. As stated you are in the suburbs, and is a beautifully, though quirky, restored building with a private garden overlooked by the... More

Stayed here as a stopover before returning to UK and so glad as what a wonderful end to our holiday. the hotel is gorgeous, family run and decorated with an eclectic slighly bonkers mix of styles and decades. The room we had was very comfortable on the ground floor with 2 rooms and a large shower/wc. All very comfortable, an... More

It is a very nice and cosy design hotel. We had a lovely and very very quiet room, no noise from outside at all.The proprietor and staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is typical French: bread and marmalade. And of course delicious coffee. We 'll be back!

After the drive from Caen ferry then the driving rain coming down after leaving Paris, by the time we reached Reims/ Chalons area we were starting to think Nancy was too ambitious for our first night destination. But it was so well worth the extra driving time.We found Le Clos Jeannon quite easily as we had checked our maps &... More
