Arrived on a Saturday afternoon so little choice of reasonably priced accommodation. We took twin room on 4th floor with 'Juliet' balcony over Rue Stanislas. Once we had sorted out the lack of towels and soap, my wife and I had a cold shower, not what you expect in a hotel. Room was clean and beds comfortable for us. Nowhere... More

This small hotel is nothing special, but location is exceptional. Look out the window and you see Place Stanislas 100 m down the road. Simple rooms. Small lift. Bathroom could need a face lift. Extra charge for our dog. Stayed one night 23rd August 2013

If you are Jewish, Christian, American, or a woman travelling with other women, and you consider staying here, get ready to be treated in a manner you've likely not experienced before. This hotel has apparently been cultivating its reputation for a long time. When I reported to the Tourist Information office some of the scenes we witnessed and were subject... More

There is no hotel parking available, though the nearby underground garage was only 8 euros overnight. Trying to charge 5 euros for 24 hours of wifi is ridiculous in this day and age. I had free and generally good quality wifi everywhere I've been in France, from hostels to nice hotels, for two weeks until I got here.

 There was... More

Stayed here for 2 nights early September and booked for 2 adults found only 1 towel in bathroom. We shouldn't have had to ask for another one but when we did it was with a sigh! (oh how difficult). On a couple of occasions we found that the lift wouldn't work, only to find out that a staff member had... More

Like most people have already said, I would avoid this place at all costs. The sheets on our bed were not cleaned, there was a nasty plastic cup used as an ashtray left on the night stand when we walked in the room. We had reserved a two bed room, but they gave us a room with one be and... More

Terrible! The only reason I gave it one "point" was because you have to. Really awful place. Totally overpriced, you get an average room with a tiny TV that's very old and hence makes that lovely high pitched noise whenever it's on... And even though you pay a good amount of money, nothing is included. Not breakfast, not even WIFI.... More

This hotel is to be avoided at all costs. On arrival we double checked the price per night for the room, to discover it was significantly more expensive than the rate we had been quoted over the phone. When my husband questioned this, he was aggressed by the owner, who insisted that the hotel was a bed and breakfast and... More

We spent 3 nights here-great budget hotel. Very clean, friendly hosts, nice breakfast, wonderful location. Not luxurious, but fine for the money.

This small hotel is fabulously located - only metres from Place Stanislas. We paid E71.60 for our room and breakfast. Our room was recently refurbished, very clean and faced onto Rue Stanislas. As the french doors were double glazed, it was also very quiet. The owner/manager was very helpful regarding parking suggestions (Don Calmet E16 for 2 days) and from... More
