10 nights between the 20th & 30th of June 2015 - and all of them in the "Victor Hugo" suite. A great place to be, with wonderful views of the area stretching to the hills and to the place of the old location of Greux! And ont the hill where the old "maison forte" once stood. Great help from the... More

My teen daughter and I stayed here one night in order to visit Joan of Arc's birthplace. We initially wanted one of the chateau rooms, but they were taken, so Nadia gave us a cottage at the same price (60 euro instead of 100 euro). I was very impressed by this gesture. We paid an extra 10 euro (5 euro... More

This was an unusual opportunity to stay in an intimate, real chateau in the French countryside. Wonderful, peaceful views of the garden and French countryside - even in March. The room was decorated very nicely in traditional french style which was very fitting for the house and was quite spacious. We had asked for the extra bed and it was... More

If you are looking for a way to explore the French countryside, there is no better place to start from than Le Clos Domremy. I came to Domremy-La-Pucelle to see any and all things Joan of Arc, and this was an amazing way to stay while I did so. Robert and Nadia were fantastic, giving me tips and hints on... More

Have you ever driven past one of those large French houses behind a high wall and wondered what it was like inside? This is your chance to find out. Le Clos Domremy was built in1860. It has been modernized only with lovely central heating(essential on a cold February day) and new double glazed windows, otherwise has original features with exposed beams... More

I stayed at the Clos Domremy last summer while researching for my next film, Joan of Arc. Not only was I in the middle of the JOAN vibe, but the proprietors of the Le Clos had an enormous library and vast knowledge of the whatever is whispered around JOAN of ARC, including the local lore (which I found most enlightening).... Nadia was very welcoming, helpful and spoke good English. She even phoned a local restaurant for us to make sure it was open and still serving food as the one we had planned to go to was closed on Mondays. We stayed in the Victor Hugo Room which was traditional and well furnished and the bathroom was very clean. Breakfast... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Clos Domremy. It has real character that easily outweighs its minor imperfections. The owner is charming and speaks excellent English. The free wifi and the breakfast brought to our room were definite plus points. Will stay again for sure!

I wanted to spend one night in Domremy, birthplace of St. Joan of Arc. A French friend booked two rooms for my friends and I. I'm glad he chose Le Clos Domremy. Robert, who speaks English, was very friendly and shared his knowledge about the local history. Domremy is such a small village that any location within it would be... More

We stayed at Le Clos Domremy with our three teenage girls (one of whom is a huge Joan of Arc Fan) in June, 2010. Robert and Nadia were the ultimate hosts! They speak pretty good English, and gave us great excursion recommendations. Their grumpy cat Filibert hung out with us and acted like he owned the place. We had a comfortable... More
