Stayed at Le Patio de Violette with a large tourist group. This hotel was VERY clean and modern. We had a nice, tranquil evening drinking wine on the patio and enjoyed an amazing outdoor dinner. Their food was excellent, the fig and cheese on toasted bread appetizer was delicious. This was a very relaxing hotel. The employees were very nice... More

we traveled to Uzes for the first time last week a sudden trip after our flights were cancelled at the last moment due to the French air controllers we traveled from home via Nimes and stopped at le pont de gard on the way , its 18 euros and if I been at the hotel first they have half price... A perfect place to stay when visiting Uzes and its surroundings. Mr. and Mrs. Jourdan are excellent hosts, very friendly, courteous and accommodating. The breakfast is very good and reasonably priced at 9.50 Euros/person. The air conditioned rooms are clean with comfortable beds; each room has a private bath. We stayed in adjoining family-style rooms. The patio is charming and... More

We wanted to be near Uzes and have a pool as we had grandchildren with us. Secure parking for hire cars was also a consideration. We ate out each night (4) but took breakfast each morning in the pretty central patio. It was limited. Sandwiches, Wine and beers were available during the day and we enjoyed our sundowners each evening... More

An inexpensive option compared to town but maybe it's better just to pay... You can walk to town, but it takes at least 20 minutes. Hotel has a courtyard construction, which means all rooms face a central patio. Fine-- unless someone wants to sit in said patio and talk... then everyone has to hear it. Normal conversation is ok during... More

This hotel was booked by the cycling tour we were on. Hotel was a bit out of the way. Cost about 6E to get to the Tourist Information booth in Uzes. If you have a car, this is not a problem, but for those on bikes, it's a bit far after a long day cycling to Uzes. Rooms were small-ish,... More

An unusually large and comfortable room for a French hotel of this price, with two comfortable chairs and plenty of light to read. Breakfast was a large buffet but was mostly supermarket fare. Dinner was atrocious. It might have been served in a third-rate English pub with this difference: no pub would have served the red wine iced. Neither was... More

Touring France for two weeks staying in Chateaux, hotels and B&B and we came across this little Logis hotel on the edge of Uzes -what amazing value, nice clean rooms with super breakfast and very nice helpful staff - we had not prebooked and found it from a roadsign - last bit was not as clear but glad we spotted... This is a nice hotel on the outskirts of Uzes. There's a nice pool and bar. The restaurant was closed while we were there, so I can't say how it is. This is best suited for people traveling by car as the town is a long walk away and there's really nothing else nearby except farms and suburban houses.

Due to the festival and the Bastille day celebrations we were unable to get a hotel room anywhere near Avignon or even in downtown Uzes. As a result we ended up at La Patio de la Violette. The hotel is located in a new development just north of the town. It looks like a traditional U.S. motel with rooms opening... More
