As other reviewers have said, this hotel is very comfortable and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quite spacious and the bathroom was modern - everything worked well. Our room had the appearance of having been individually decorated, with a mix of nice old pieces of furniture and some modern pieces. Tiled floors and the old stone... more

Had a very pleasant night's stay in this friendly and welcoming hotel in Uzes. Our room was cosy and comfortable with a modern showerroom. Robes were provided. We arrived too late to enjoy the third floor terrace which had views across the town rooftops. Would happily stay again if in the area. more

Excellent breakfast (simple but fresh). Nice old building with a perfect location and a very good restaurant. One or too fittings a bit too rustic for my taste, but overall I would certainly recommend it. The staff are very helpful. more

The hostellerie is a beautiful stone building and is an easy short walk to the old city center. It is decorated with reds, golds, greens, and greys. The rooms are the lap of luxury. We stayed in a comfort room, which was spacious with a cozy bed topped by a thick comforter, a jacuzzi tub, granite countertops in the bathroom,... more

My wife and I needed an overnight stop at one of our favourite Provence towns..Uzes. Saw some comments relating to this hotel, and booked it. From the first contact, via e-mail, to the goodbye, faultless. On arrival, the proprietor got us alongside the hotel, not easy in this wonderful old town, unloaded, and the hire car parked in a sheltered... more

We stayed for one night and had several problems. We had agreed and booked a room with whirlpool bath but on arrival were given a room with only a shower. The owner admitted it was his fault but would not make any reduction. He said he had given the room to someone who had booked an extra night. He did... more

My wife and I stayed at the Hostellerie Provencale for only 1 night on this trip but intend coming back again. Uzes is a lovely town with a beautifully preserved medieval centre. The Hostellerie is conveniently located on the edge of the medieval part which makes it convenient for arrival and walking about. It has beeen restored sensitively and retains... more

when in southern france an excelent choice is uzes. its close to auvignon yet far more interesting and without the hoards of tourists. the recently remodeled provencale could not be nicer. they have preserved much of the centuries old charm and installed new baths, plasma tvs and all required comforts. the restaurant is excelent and if they dont have what... more

This is a great little hotel with big hotel comfort and facilities as well as character and style. Uzes is a lovely little french town - close to Pont du Gard and with lots of cobbled streets and squares to wander in. The guy who runs the hotel was super friendly and the service was great. Our only regret is... more
