This accommodation was part of our 2700kms tandem cycling holiday through France. The location of this hotel is central in Uzes and easy to find. The owner is passionate and arty and has decorated his hotel in a quirky, original and French provincial style. Our tandem was secured in a garage and accommodation was directly across the road from the... More

The room we stayed in was large and comfortable with traditional decor and beautiful french doors that opened onto a tiny balcony over a cobbled laneway below. The hotel was only a short 5 minute walk to the main town square. Uzes itself is conveniently close to the Pont du Gard. I cant put my finger on it, but we... More

One of the great things about France are all the tiny, privately owned hotels with their distinctive personalities, like Hostellerie Provencale. The hotel is 300 years old but the current owner purchased it only a few years ago and it seems like his goal was to recreate the classic, small French hotel experience but with a more interesting twist. Not... More

It is obvious that the proprietors of this small hotel take pride in the hotel and the fine work they have done with this property. The room was charming, very comfortable and wonderfully decorated. The small balcony is suitable for standing and looking down the lovely pedestrian street. The owners are both very helpful, accommodating and quite friendly and pleasant.... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of our Discover France bicycle tour. Eric greeted us and was very friendly and helpful. Our room was upstairs across from the entrance in an old building that had been very nicely renovated. We had lots of space, a comfortable large bed, very modern well lit bathroom with a great shower. The... More

This has been one, if not the worst, experience I have had in my experience as tourist. During breakfast, we asked if we could have some ham and cheese as all the tables had and the answer was 'let me see if there is some for you'. Another example, Imagine yourself arriving tired and with two kids (4 and 10,... More

The hosts were extremely gracious and welcoming after our VERY long day of travel. Our room was just enchanting, with a staircase that led to nowhere. We had a beautiful view down onto the cobblestone streets, and we left the windows open to add to the charm. The wifi was excellent. The breakfast was plentiful. I cannot begin to say... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of our "Discover France" bike trip and it was fabulous in every way. Perfect location and friendly and very helpful owners. The hotel exemplifies the artistic flair of Eric and Francois. Breakfast was excellent. The only thing I would improve with this hotel is to have wifi capability in the rooms as you... More

This is quite a small hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is just on the outside of the little ring road that surrounds the central area and a very short walk from the markets. They have parking available which is very useful as the town gets very busy on Wednesdays and Saturdays... More
