This has been one, if not the worst, experience I have had in my experience as tourist. During breakfast, we asked if we could have some ham and cheese as all the tables had and the answer was 'let me see if there is some for you'. Another example, Imagine yourself arriving tired and with two kids (4 and 10,... More

We spent two nights in Uzes in this hotel (booked two rooms in the Annex in front of the hostellerie) Nice rooms (don't expect sophisticated one) comfortable with AC Location to visit Uzes is perfect Breakfast and restaurant are very good On the minus side : the attitude of the managers who were not specially friendly at least with us... The hosts were extremely gracious and welcoming after our VERY long day of travel. Our room was just enchanting, with a staircase that led to nowhere. We had a beautiful view down onto the cobblestone streets, and we left the windows open to add to the charm. The wifi was excellent. The breakfast was plentiful. I cannot begin to say... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of our "Discover France" bike trip and it was fabulous in every way. Perfect location and friendly and very helpful owners. The hotel exemplifies the artistic flair of Eric and Francois. Breakfast was excellent. The only thing I would improve with this hotel is to have wifi capability in the rooms as you... More

This is quite a small hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is just on the outside of the little ring road that surrounds the central area and a very short walk from the markets. They have parking available which is very useful as the town gets very busy on Wednesdays and Saturdays... More

Room, bath, location, service - all excellent! We booked for only one night on a tour of the area and wish we had stayed longer, both to experience more of Uzes and to enjoy the Hostellerie for another few nights. Would recommend it highly for a charming and relaxing time in the Languedoc.

Wonderful room / mini suite right in the middle of Uzes in a quiet street - not sure what the commercial arrangement was with La Hostellerie Provençale which is a bistro / restaurant right opposite the entrance to the rooms which was through an ancient wooden door and up a couple of flights of stone stairs. The bed was comfortable,... More

We stayed in the building which is opposite the main hotel, I supposed it is the expansion of the hotel. There is no lift for this annex building ( lift in main building only), though the hotel staff willingly assist me in our luggage. The breakfast is good ! The staff in charge is a nice guy as ever. Convenient... More

Oh my what a lovely hotel! The owners were fabulous, gracious, and welcoming. We felt more like friends staying for a visit then paying guests. If you want a chain hotel sort of thing this is NOT the hotel for you but we loved the eclectic books, artwork, and funky factor. Do not mistake funky for unclean though! Everything was... More

Just great. We stayed here 4 nights and the accommodations are terrific. New ownership from the last time we were here in 2011 and these guys have made it even better. Centrally located to the Place aux Herbes and historic section of town, plus virtually all of the best restaurants and places of interest. Speaking of which, however, the in-house... More
