Oh my what a lovely hotel! The owners were fabulous, gracious, and welcoming. We felt more like friends staying for a visit then paying guests. If you want a chain hotel sort of thing this is NOT the hotel for you but we loved the eclectic books, artwork, and funky factor. Do not mistake funky for unclean though! Everything was... More

Just great. We stayed here 4 nights and the accommodations are terrific. New ownership from the last time we were here in 2011 and these guys have made it even better. Centrally located to the Place aux Herbes and historic section of town, plus virtually all of the best restaurants and places of interest. Speaking of which, however, the in-house... More

We arrived in Uzes after a 6 hour drive from the Pyrenees without any pre-booked accommodation and stumbled upon this Hotel. Our room was in a building across the street from the main building. The managers were polite (albeit the blonde guy could be a bit abrupt) and helpful. The dark haired manager who checked us in was most welcoming... More

This is a rather special hotel. For a start it is very small, 9 rooms in all. Decor is provençal with eclectic overtones, which I liked but others found odd. We were a group of 10 for a meeting which was held on the top floor in a temporarily converted bedroom, lunch was served on the roof-top terrace, we went... More

We stayed at l'Hostellerie Provençal in Uzes for two nights in September. The experience was fantastic! Francois and Eric were the perfect hosts and our room was a delight. Full of art and colour, a comfortable bed, and cold fruit juices and beer in the bar fridge. Our room was in a building next door to the main building, so... More

This was the first stop in a bike tour of Avignon with my wife. The location was easy to find, just off the ring road of Uzes. The managers were polite and helpful, but spoke little English (fortunately my wife speaks French). Our room was adequately sized, but had a HUGE bathroom, with a VERY nice shower. Although the curtains... More

It was bumper to bumper traffic when we arrived in Uzes. We were looking for the parking (Corbier, I think) indicated by the hotel as you cannot park in front to drop your suitcases. After three trips on the circular boulevard that surrounds the old town of UZes, we spotted the hotel. We double parked on the busy boulevard to... More

We strongly recommend this hotel. It has the strongest service focus we have seen in France. Eric seems to be on site 24 hours per day. The breakfast was excellent - not a buffet but set up on each table. The roof-top terrasse for dinner was outsanding. The location is perfect, just off the main street and less that a... More

This is the most wonderful place to stay. The staff and Eric are simply perfect and so welcoming. the rooms are big, comfortable and luxurious, so, so clean, all the time, no fault at all. The breakfasts are filling and delicious, croissant's, ham and cheese, strong coffee and lovely fresh juice and yogurt with homemade jams and fruits salads every... More

My friends and I had a wonderful stay in this Hostellerie. The staff were charming and helpful. Our rooms had rustic and chic decor. Bathrooms were big and cleanliness was a key feature. I liked the breakfast, particularly when served on the rooftop terrace. This boutique hotel was a key influence in our appreciation of the town and surrounds.
