It's a wonderful place. We actually got an upgrade to the family suits, which was very charming. It's was great having a kitchen to cook small thing or jus warm up the good for our kid. The garden is very nice, typical French country-style. The only negative point was that you can only check in in the late afternoon and... More

Its been interesting to see the mixed reviews of the Mas du Lac, and having visited one can understand the varied reactions. We loved it - kind hosts, tasteful (but not luxurious) rooms, large, rambling, slightly over-grown gardens and a pool. As mentioned by others the family suite is a real bonus if you need space for you and the... More

Mas du Lac was a excelent place to stay. Close to many places of interest. Walking distanceto a shopping area with a huge carfour and bio/organic supermarket. The rooms are big, comfortable and very tasteful. Nicer than the pictures on their site. There is a beautiful garden with olive- and fig trees. The buildings are beautifully restored and have rustique... More

My mom and I were pleasantly surprised by this B&B. After walking through the gate, one is reminded of what a family's farmhouse would have looked like in the 1500s. The hosts were very welcoming and served us some delicious juice (locally made--all of the fresh produce there is unbelievably tasty!) while we chatted in French. The room was nicely decorated,... We spent a week in summer last year, and we will certainly do it again. I don't expect daily housekeeping from a B&B... it's part of the deal. And I perfectly understand the comfort limitations of an old 'Mas' ... and that's part of the charm!! Our 6 yo daughter learned to swim in the nice, well integrated, PRIVATE pool,... More

Attracted by the nice pictures and caracter of the place. However, in real it was the worst place visted ever. the owner, Martine, was called 'la sorcière' by some of the guests and we could only share this opinion. Do not understand why such a person is running a B&B. The rooms are not cleaned during your stay, the pool... More

This B&B is well located: close to the lovely town of Uzes and daytrips are possible to Pont du Gare, Avignon, Arles and Nimes. It has got potential but the owners should step up their standards. The room and bathroom were not very clean (dust on every ridge proofs that it has not been cleaned well recently), the covers of... More

We could not have had a better 5 night stay here. Our family of 4 had a very large family suite- an entire floor to ourselves located above the communal breakfast room. It consisted of an enormous bathroom, a cozy and adorable kids bedroom, opening onto an extra room with table and chairs and space to play, and a lovely... More

The place is perfect; an old Mas, minutes away from the center of Uzes, full of character and with an amazing potential. The area is not great but this is not a problem; once you pass the door you are in another world! (The busy road passes near by but you cannot see it or hear it!) Unfortunately the owner... More
