We found Richard and Judy Jarvis’ 781 B&B through TripAdvisor. They are British and have invited guests into their home for the past eight years. The wing is a two bedroom suite with two baths. It can sleep two to four. If there are only two of you, the second bedroom becomes your dressing room. That room has two single... More

Previous guests have said it all. It is 2KM from the centre of Uzes. The hosts try their best to be helpful. I found that the breakfast was a bit boring in that for a little bit extra some cereal or/and muesli would have added largely to the experience. The rooms have been described by others better than I can.... More

781 is located a 20 minute walk from Uzes, or a few minutes by car. It is on a large private property with plenty of parking, a lovely garden and a pool. The hosts, Richard and Judy, are a retired English couple and could not be more friendly or helpful. They have plenty of travel advice and information available to... More

I stayed at 781 with my daughter for a couple of days in August. Richard and Judy could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We had an evening meal with them and the food was marvellous. They catered to my daughter's veggie tastes and the chocolate fondants were to die for. Eating breakfast in the garden with Richards home... More

We stayed for 2 nights at Richard's and Judy's place and it was one of the best accommodation we have stayed at on our trips thus far. It felt like home. From the first interaction with Richard over email the experience was a pleasant one. They were very friendly hosts and the room was excellent, small but not a problem... More

We spent four days at 781 earlier this month and can only reiterate what other people have said. The rooms were great - as others have said you have the use of both rooms. Breakfast was lovely - served on the terrace each morning - Richard's jams are legendary and rightly so! We had two evening meals - one of... More

What a lovely stay nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast in the garden every morning. We recommend the evening meal it was superb. Could not fault any of our four day stay. As the saying goes we arrived as strangers but left as friends.

My wife and I spent two very enjoyable nights at 781 in mid October managing to catch the last of a warm autumn spell. We had the use of the two double rooms and bathrooms which are nicely separated from the main living area of our hosts Richard and Judy, The decor and furnishings throughout the house are nice and... Obviously we stayed based on previous reviews and were very satisfied. We were glad we went with the dinner option when we arrived as it was gourmet and excellent value.Richard also went to a lot of effort to source the best products for breakfast. The water in the pool was spring fed and quite pleasant not to have the chlorine effect. That area... I stayed here for a week over the summer, and it was the perfect retreat from busy city life. This place is great because it does not feel like a hotel so much as an idyllic home with loads of character and charm. I went with two friends and we felt our hosts had just the right balance of warmth... More
