Has recently been taken over by Best Western and will need some redecoration and modernisation to bring it up to standards. The room however was spacious and well equipped if a little outdated. Adequate for the price.

This hotel is meant to be an average 3-star hotel that's clean and well located with a public parking directly beneath the hotel. We are not talking about a fancy 3-star hotel here. It was never meant to be 'fancy' but functional and clean.
Location wise it is well located on the Boulevard Wilson, in front of the Palais des...

This is a chain hotel. Its main advantage is its location which is very close to the city centre.
The bedroom however was very basic with scratches in some of the furniture. However my main complaint is the reception area where one fish appeared half dead in a miserable fishbowl on the reception desk.
Also there is a caged bird...

I had made a reservation to stay at the Kyriad for business and called to cancel my reservation when I was able to confirm a hotel that was closer to the conference I was attending. Apparently, there was either a language barrier or the person I spoke to simply didn't record the cancellation. I was charged a night's stay for...

Good location, difficult to park, not great value and rude staff on check out. We were only there one night for a rugby trip, so was adequate, but far from a great hotel.
We stopped at this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel was OK, clean, plenty of towels, shower stuff. Coffee/tea facilities were poor - plastic cups, only 1 milk and coffee per person. Bed was comfortable. The view was miserable. Did not have breakfast there as I think ten euros for coffee and bread rolls etc is a lot of money....

Typical French travellers' hotel.
You get what you pay for: The reception, in typical French city style is also the bar and breakfast room, , had absolutely no ambianceand was deserted everytime we walked through.
The room was fine, the bathroom was fine, the price was OK, and the staff were pleasant.
The location is great - only a few...

If this were a two star, for about 60-70 euros, it would be okay for the location and aircon. However, at the rates they charge for these cramped, plain rooms - it is a bad deal. Don't pay more than 70 Euros, and only if you need aircon.
Otherwise, do what I did (after one night), and move to the...
