This winery is located about 11km from Narbonne and about 7km from large beaches at Narbonne Plage and 13km from beaches at Guissan Plage, so you'll definitely need a car to move around the area. Rooms were clean but fairly small. There's no elevators to the rooms, so expect to climb some stairs if your room is located on other... More

Been here a few times over the years. Fantastic views looking over the hills. The entrance is at the top of a hill and goes down through the vin yards as far as you can see. When you arrive, there's more than just the vin yard with lots of beautiful wines to taste. Set out in court yard you have... More

Came here for a wine tasting and a little look around. Had a young French girl who spoke excellent English as well so very helpful for non French speakers. Very professional and excellent knowledge of wines and made some fantastic recommendations which I thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be back! Thanks for a lovely experience.

We spent 1 night at the hotel, and it was a nice room, quiet spacious with a nice view on the surrounding. The domaine is very pretty, with vineyard around. Very relaxing. We tasted the wines in the cave- and you get a free bottle for free as well. Unfortunately the person at the cave was a young british person... More

Booked a three night stay in a prestige room, had email confirmation that the restaurant would be available each night & that a table had been booked. Day before arrival received an email to say that restaurant would be closed for first two nights. Arrived & found staff unhelpful & unfriendly, was told that a restaurant was available 10km away... L'Hospitalet restaurant was once famous for its atmosphere and a good menu with lovely wines, but that was 10 years ago. We returned to the restaurant recently with friends for what was supposed to be a convivial lunch. What a disappointment! Everything has changed and these days the restaurant resembles an old people's home: brown everywhere on the floors, tables,... More

This should have been the perfect stop-over between the Dordogne-area and Northern Spain, situated on a well known wine-estate near Narbonne. Yes, it was quite high in price (euro 162,50 per night for last minute booking through Booking.com), but it's website was so promising that we decided to go there. What should have been a 4 person suite was not... More

It was a joy to stay at L'Hospitalet. The chateau is quite beautiful and we had a lovely room opening on to the rose garden with a pretty terrace where we enjoyed our complimentary wine. The staff in the caveau are knowledgeable and friendly and the wine tasting should not be missed. Our only problem was that we were travelling... More

We booked a standard room for one night and found on arrival that this consisted of a ground floor room with no window, only a glass door. The temperature was in the high 20's and the air conditioning was not available. This would have meant staying in oven or sitting with the door open and other guests seeing into our... More

Room are fine. We stayed in a Deluxe room for 3 nights. Unfortually among others bathsoap was not refilled when empty. Floor wasn't cleaned during our 3 days stay in this deluxe room. On the 1st days we found multiple hairs in toilet and bathroom. Beakfast is buffet. Rating breakfast around 9 in the morning you need to ask the... More
