I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone! I have never had a worse experience. I stayed at Le Cheval Blanc for 2 nights, with 3 friends. We had 2 separate rooms. First off the rooms were not clean. Then when I went to check out they wanted me to pay around 60 Euros for things in the minibar, however... More

Unfortunately our stay with the Cheval Blanc was a disappointment from the outset. First we could not check in until 4pm as they had 'a problem with our room'. Finally in, and on first appearance the room looked great: modern, spacious, clean and an incredible view of the amphitheatre. However we were missing a kettle? The first night we had... More

We stayed for 2 nights (one was New years Eve) here, and luckily we were up graded to a mini suite with little kitchenette. Overlooking the Arenas (room 24) on 3rd floor, just beautiful. But I would imagine that most of the rooms are just as stylish. The staff were welcoming, and the bonus was the attached Wine Bar/Restaurant -... More

The hotel, I reckon, was somewhere between poor and average. Good location for the amphitheatre that's for sure but there isn't much else on the hotel side. On the other side of the amphitheatre are a few bars and restaurants but surprisingly, on our Wednesday afternoon arrival, two of the four were closed, the third (the biggest, on the corner)... More

We took two double rooms here. Both rooms very comfortable and one had an excellent view of the Arena. Recently renovated in minimalist style and very clean and comfortable. A very well located hotel, only a short walk to the major attractions and restaurants. Excellent staff service.

I made the reservation nearly a year in advance because the place was across the street from the Roman arena. The revues were generally lousy. A bed with a sheet. I figured if I had the 2,000-year-old arena filling my window, I could live with a bed and a sheet. Well, surprise, surprise! The place has been totally renovated, or,... More

We booked 6 months in advance. They require full payment 30 days before arrival. The hotel is well located next to the arena. Our first room had no view, which we could live with, but the AC wasn't working. It was 96 degrees and we really wanted a cool room to come back to. They wouldn't move us to another... More

We stayed here 2 nights in August 2011 and it was pretty lousy. The rooms are a good size but the bathrooms very shabby and poorly designed. The kitchenette (not used) had a large burn mark on the door. There is no service as such (which is why it is a no-star place, I suppose) and no facilities. The reception... More

We booked the Le Cheval Blanc for 1 night at the start of a trip to France because they offered rooms that could accomadate 3 ( 2 adults and a child) and to be honest were not expecting much. Wewere more than pleasantly surprised. The hotel has a great location. The facilities in the rooms were a bove average for... More

This hotel/residence was a wonderful surprise! The room was beautifully decorated and immaculate. Our view onto the Roman amphitheatre was spectacular. We enjoyed a Supertramp concert from the comfort of our window and yet when we closed the windows, there was virtually no noise from outside. Parking overnight on sidestreets is free and accessible if you don't want to pay... More
