good place to stay to explore Nimes and the area around. Our base for 3 nights fanned out to Pont Du Gard, Avignon, Arles and St, Remy (Glenum) the Roman ruin - plenty of Roman sites in the area. Hotel close to Arena and city centre walked all over through the old town to the north. The hotel run by... More

Stayed only one night on a quick tourist visit to Nimes. The hotel is a short walk to the Amphitheatre and on the edge of the picturesque old town. So the location is great although like many towns in this part of France getting there from the autoroute can be a bit of an adventure. You will almost certainly need... More

We stayed for two nights in a 3rd floor room with a balcony. The hotel is located on a mainly residential street about a 5 minute walk from the Arena. There was some noise from the street but it wasn't excessive and we were able to sleep with balcony door open. The inside of the hotel has an old fashioned... More

This is a fantastic little hotel, if you are looking for something central and low cost. Comfortable, quiet, friendly good wifi and breakfast. The hosts also speak english. I would definitely come back.

Hotel des Tuileries is one great bargain. Though situated upon a quiet street, it is within easy walking distance of most everything Nimes offers. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and well-maintained, and the owners (both of whom are among the nicest people one could ever hope to meet) knowledgeable and very helpful. They even keep an assortment of choice wines... More

My family and I stayed here over the summer. It surpassed our expectations! The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony. The hotel is very centrally located, and we were given a parking space nearby in a garage. The owners were delightful, and we enjoyed chatting with them. They gave us good, practical advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed... More

We stayed one night in September in this lovely hotel. The hotel is very close to the city centre, really about a 5 min walk to nice restaurants and 10 mins walking to the famous Arena. The owners are very friendly and it was convenient to be able to check in until 10 pm (we had been driving the whole... More

We had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Des Tuileries. The location of the hotel is excellent, near the arenes and train station. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and gave advice as to the best places to eat out in Nimes. The room had a balcony which was nice and the wifi connection was great. The fact that the... More

Would highly recommend. The welcome at the end of a long hard day of driving was so nice and the proprietors were helpful and charming throughout. Great location - very central - within 5/10 minutes walk of most of the sites. Room, bed and breakfast were excellent as are the local beers they stock. I pre-booked a secure parking space... More

What a charming hotel - the English owners offer true hospitality, service, and value. The room was spacious and had been stylishly renovated, with a supremely comfortable mattress to boot. Right in the center of things, but quiet and peaceful - lots of cool shops and restaurants nearby in this trendy mini-district, also near the arena. Great breakfast, great value.
