We had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Des Tuileries. The location of the hotel is excellent, near the arenes and train station. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and gave advice as to the best places to eat out in Nimes. The room had a balcony which was nice and the wifi connection was great. The fact that the... More

Would highly recommend. The welcome at the end of a long hard day of driving was so nice and the proprietors were helpful and charming throughout. Great location - very central - within 5/10 minutes walk of most of the sites. Room, bed and breakfast were excellent as are the local beers they stock. I pre-booked a secure parking space... More

What a charming hotel - the English owners offer true hospitality, service, and value. The room was spacious and had been stylishly renovated, with a supremely comfortable mattress to boot. Right in the center of things, but quiet and peaceful - lots of cool shops and restaurants nearby in this trendy mini-district, also near the arena. Great breakfast, great value.

The hotel is situated down a quiet back-street just five minutes walk away from the Roman Arena. The proprietors are very helpful and welcoming. It has much better than average breakfasts for a French hotel of this class.

We used this hotel as a base for a cycling tour of Provence. The English speaking owners were so helpful allowing us to store bike boxes. The rooms are air-conditioned and very comfortable. Central for Nimes too. We couldn't be happier with this hotel.

At first, you will be unpleasantly surprised by the external looks of the hotel and surroundings, but it's close enough of the Roman Arena and other tourisitic atractions to make it worth a try. We had difficulty with the wi-fi connection (not experienced in other hotels of the region during thise same trip)...

But in our view it's NOT the people we are commenting on but the establishment they run. It falls far short of the 2 star places that we have stayed in on this 10 days trip. The street is grotty (not their fault). But surely they could do some simple things to make their entrance more attractive. If we hadn't... More

Very enjoyable stay in a lovely city. Stayed for 3 nights, hotel is small, has character and very friendly owners. Would recommend it and hope to return for longer next time. Nimes is easily walkable with interesting sights (Arena, Temple). Also excellent transport links if you want to visit out of city places (e.g. Pont du Gard)

We stayed here a year ago (I'm a bit delayed in writing my trip advisor reviews!) Rooms were basic and clean, nothing fancy, but reasonably priced. Owners were very helpful in recommending things to see in our short visit, and good local places to eat and buy food, and the secured carpark was definitely a bonus.

We stayed here for 2 nights during a recent tour of France. It was hands down our favorite place! The hotel is located in the center of Nimes and is in easy walking distance from anywhere you might want to go in Nimes. The hotel owners know the town and give you good recommendations for dining and touring. The room was... More
