Used this hotel as a stop-off whilst touring across Cote D'Azur. Nimes is worth visiting if only for spectaclur roman amphitheatre but this hotel is too remote and difficult to find, well outside the town. Hotel is run by family who are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, sufficient hanging space, bathroom has all you expect. There are no tea/coffee facilities in room. Lovely rural location, about 6km out of Nimes. Quaint small hotel with nicely decorated room. We had a lovely patio that we could sit outside. Only problem is the location, it is a lovely hotel but you need a car if you want to visit Nimes as there were no bus services. more

Have just spent a week at Le Pre Galoffre, about 10 minutes drive from Nimes Garons Airport. The buildings are beautifully renovated stone set at the end of an avenue of trees with plenty of car parking just outside of NImes. Stayed here for a saturday night during a tour of the area in August. General observations were that the Hotel is in a lovely old characterful building, and the public areas especially are very nicely decorated. Also the staff/ owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful - definitely 5* service. The swimming pool / breakfast terrace area was very pretty too.... more
