My wife and I stayed in a classic room at Le Jardins Secrets for 2 nights during our recent holiday in Provence. Our room was fairly small but beautifully decorated and looked onto an classic arched atrium with lounge chairs to relax and enjoy the Nimes sunshine. Our en-suite had an enormous bath with a hand-held shower but no separate... more

My husband and I stayed at Jardins Secrets for 3 nights. We booked directly with the hotel by telephone. It was our first trip in the south of France. Nimes is a lovely city. We enjoyed walking around the city and visit the roman monuments. When we first arrived at the hotel, we felt like we could stay there forever!... more

I would never have made a booking with this hotel had I realised it was in the middle of a major refubishment. Our first room facing the courtyard garden on the ground floor had a bathroom which was not finished, and only a shower which flooded the bathroom and was in danger of spreading to the bedroom. The room was... more

Have just returned from this lovely hotel with my husband and two grown up daughters. My daughters where in the old part of the hotel where there are 4 rooms and we stayed in one of the new rooms, just as lovely as they are converting another old property with another garden, not quite finished but it will be fab... more

We spent the last four days of our honeymoon at this hotel, and it's a charming, atmospheric place, full of quirky objets, and beautiful antiques. When we arrived we realised the standard double room we had booked was far too small, and although the hotel was full, the lovely Annabella, one of the owners, endeavoured to accomodate us. We ended... more

When I arrived at the hotel, it truly was walking into a secret garden. I was greeted most graciously. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with real antiques . It is rare to find a hotel with such true warmth and beauty these days. My room was beautiful overlooking the pretty garden park. At night, they offer a delicious warm... more

We stayed for four nights at this very beautiful town house. The whole house, and our bedroom and en suite bathroom were exceptionally elegant, with lovely antique furniture, objets d'art, lighting including several huge chandeliers, artwork, books, musical instruments. The bed was enormous and comfortable with lovely bed linen; the bathroom had delicious toiletries, unlimited thick, fluffy towels and a... more

Choosing this hotel was a bit of a gamble for us due to the fact that we were on holiday with our two year old daughter and all previous guests advised against staying at Jardins Secrets with young children. It IS a gamble if you have a toddler who likes to pick up ornaments as you will not be able... more

My husband and I recently stayed at Les Jardins Secrets during our honeymoon and found it very disappointing. Having read rave reviews, we were so looking forward to our stay however found the experience to be lacking. The building itself is lovely and the furnishings are attractive - but the hotelier is renovating the neighbouring property which, for us at... more

This break was booked as a January get-away and we were rewarded with temperatures of over 20 degrees ! We were made very welcome at the hotel where we were the only guests staying this weekend. I'd describe the hotel as "French Chic" and elegent; fresh flowers abounded in both the lounges and bedroom . There were several lounge areas... more
