The hotel is truly a labour of love. Everything is exquisite. The hospitality was wonderful. The bed was comfortable with great toiletries. There was also a boutique where you could buy your own to take home. Although for me we were traveling light so another time. The hotel was a work of art brimming with antiques. I loved exploring the... More

This is a very beautiful hotel, with really helpful staff. I must mention Joel in particular who made us extremely welcome and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. The beds were so comfortable and it's a lovely place to spend some time relaxing, whether you're in your room, sitting on the terrace, or out in the garden... More

Many people have written about how beautiful the garden is, how kind the employees are, how delicious the breakfasts are, how beautiful the rooms are, how excellent the linens and bath accessories are, and how sweet the cats, birds, and turtles are. ALL THIS IS TRUE! But I want to write about the extraordinary service. We do not think of... More

Absolutely amazing Hotel. Rooms are well decorated giving the impression of entering another century with perfect amenities (bed,bathroom...) Breakfast under the trees is a must. Near the center of town with its wonderfull restaurants .Moreover easy to find dedicated historical briefing with guides and visit some of the "hidden" Private Hotels from the 17th century. Staff seems to be under... More

Wonderfully warm welcome to the beautiful property that is a short walk into the center of Nimes. Staff are all fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. We switched rooms as they had availability in a junior suite which was stunning. So many things to enjoy within the hotel (which feels like a private home). We especially enjoyed the beautifully... It really is like entering another world - so special! A buzz on a door in an un-remarkable street and the door opens and you enter paradise! The reception team come to meet you and escort you through the gardens and the amazing premises to give you an undertstanding of what the place is all about while your cases and... More

Wonderful hotel a couple of minutes from the station and the town centre. Beautifully appointed, lovely garden, delicious breakfasts and delightful staff. it isn't easy to bring all the elements for a successful hotel together but the owners have achieved it and more. We loved it!! Thank you.

Absolutely disappointment. Dark room, NO fringe in the room, NO toilet paper holder, toilet door would not close, we waited for hot watter for ages. The most terrible was a mouse in the room which was sitting in the night in the handbag of my wife. The Mousetrap injured our dog because nobody said that it was given there. After... More

Most important of all: If you have any schedule changes, or have made any errors in the dates of your booking, don't expect a gracious understanding or any refunds from the staff. I had mistakenly booked an extra day beyond the three which we had planned for. Thinking that, as it was for a Monday and that we were staying... More

I cannot add any other superlatives to those reviews below, as they say all I wish to say and they say with such style too - just one thing GO and see for yourself and be spoiled too! Our last night there, a Monday just after the Feria de Vendages, they couldnt recommend a restaurant so they prepared a simple... More
