A mere 100 meters from the famous Roman colosseum, this charming hotel is located in the centre of Nimes on a quiet, narrow street. The proprietress, Ghislaine, greeted us and personally escorted us to a very comfortable, spacious room, with a large, renovated ensuite.. An ample breakfast for 10 euros was good value, with ample selection.. This liane was very... More

Its name says it all, really! Charming, refurbished old building with pretty linens, and a nice bathroom. Good breakfast. Parking was a nightmare when we went- it was Feria de Nimes and traffic and parking was INSANE! Parked ages away (under the main road through Nimes) and walked. Weather was rainy and bullfights in the arena were cancelled (yay, bulls)... More

What a nice little place – family owned and run. We had a very large room with two comfortable chairs and a table. There is no elevator, so be aware of this if you have a room on an upper floor as we did. The bathroom was large and had an electrical outlet, which many in France do not. The... More

The challenge with this hotel is finding it. On the Northern side of the Amphitheatre there are some street signs to it. Look for these as it is down a small careless street and only identified by a Hotel sign above. Once found however, you will enjoy a simple boutique, old style hotel. It is a bit of a rabbit... This hotel is well situated, and is in a old house. A bit of a warren, and the rooms are certainly not modern. But nevertheless it is perfectly adequate, and the owners are very welcoming and helpful.

This hotel is located steps from the arena on the edge of the old town. Our room (#8, one flight up) was on the lovely Place du Marche. Gislaine, the manager/owner, was friendly and helpful: an excellent hostess. Our recently updated room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom. We had breakfast at the hotel one morning, and it... More

We stayed for 4 nights and thought this hotel was great. The rooms are lovely, very clean with nice furnishings and huge beds. The bathroom was new and very clean with new towels and toiletries everyday. Ghislaine and Markus were great hosts with lots of recommendations for places to go and places to eat. This hotel is right in the... More

We stayed for 3 nights. Hotel has excellent location in pedestrianised area. Parking is 800 yards away in a public car park and costs EUR 18 a night. The bed came with a duvet - we could not sleep as we were too hot under the duvet and too cold without it (however I know some people like duvets) and... More

We spend 2 nights here. Convenience walking distance from train/bus station. We had a room on 3rd floor with view to a small court yard. Nice to seat near small balconies to have tea. The balconies has double doors so when closed, the room is very quiet. Our king size bed is comfortable. The shower is good. Room and bathroom... More

Stylish renovation of this grand house with a stunning staircase and fabulously high ceilings. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. The location right near Les Arenes couldn't be more central. If you arrive by car, you have to park in a nearby parking and drag your luggage. Right around the corner, across from Les Arenes is an excellent restaurant... More
