We were looking for hotel with restaurants and sight seeing within walking distance. And that is what we've got, and more. The hotel is situated in the center with nearby a lot of shops, restaurants, the arena, Maison Carré,... all within 10 min walking distance. Public parkingspace for a fair prices is 5 min walking away. Rooms and bathroom are... More

The hotel is in a great location for walking around Nimes. Nimes is a wonderful city to walk about and see some amazing sights. The hotel is old (there is a great outdoor stone corridor) but the room was modern and the staff friendly. One complaint was that the safe in the room didn't work but hopefully that'll be fixed.... The architecture of the hotel is great, the stone stairs and its entrance as well as the inner courtyard make it a very pleasant place to stay. The lobby is nice and staff is pleasant and polite, and will do its best to help you. The things I didn't like: - Access: cars can't park in front of hotel, unless... More

This hotel is now called 'New Hotel de la Baume'. It is in a very narrow street and you can not park outside to off-load bags. We parked our car nearby in a multi-story car park for 8 Euro/day, very reasonable. The bathrooms have been modernised but our room was very dark and the view out the window was to... More

Nice front desk staff, nice old-fashioned interior design, and a somewhat spacious room. The breakfast seems too expansive, so we didn't take it. Beware that there is no separation between the restroom and the bedroom. It seems that the hotel charges for in-room coffee, too. In addition, it is not very close to the public parking, and the hotel... More

We were 2 adults and 3 children staying in a very comfortable room after making a last minute reservation. Paid parking is just nearby at 8 euro/day and the hotel is easily walkable to the market, Arena and Temple. Breakfast was a bit steep at 14 euro/person but the hotel is great value. Room was clean and quiet and staff... More

While the public spaces are beautiful, the rooms themselves have a lot of room to improve on. It has been recently remodeled but the finishing is not high quality (taps loose, carpets old, doors that don't shut). The rooms are extremely dark (I had to use the light from my phone to see what I had packed) and the wireless... More

Once again, I fell in love with the photos on the internet provided by hotel management, only to be extremely disappointed when confronted with the reality of the hotel, which we found only after spending nearly an hour trying to navigate the narrow, winding, one-way streets that seemed to lead everywhere but to our destination. My husband and I just... More

This was very last hotel on our holiday. We stayed overnight prior to catching TGV for journey home so it was really a stopover but on reflection we could have stayed longer. This was good hotel in the old part of Nimes ten minutes walk from the main Roman sites. It was great to walk around, loads of cafes and... More

We had two rooms for 10 nights from the 4th August. This hotel has a confusing star rating..it's is definitely 3 star. The staff are all very friendly, charming and helpful. It is situated in a slightly tatty street but is only one street back from what looks like the smartest so don't worry about location. There is parking within... More
