It's true... The hotel is older. It was a 17th century farmhouse. The stone interior is incredible and very lovely. The reception team and the wait staff are top notch and very helpful. When I arrived the man at reception took my bags up to my room for me so I wouldn't have to fight with them. There is an... More

I'm not sure how this is a four star hotel. Booked a double 'classic' room category. This is a hotel that needs renovating. Some renovating has been done as our bathroom had a contemporary sink however they should have knocked out the wall and made the bathroom one room. The toilet was in a room on one side of the... We arrived following a 650 mile drive for an overnight break. Outside we almost did not go in, but don't let that put you off. Once inside the staff we great, the building old and quaint, we liked it. The bedroom carpet a little worn but overall really good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff all through were excellent The... More

Stayed here a few weeks ago. Great location in the middle of the town. Staff really helpful and very pleasant. The room we had was a little on the dark side, bathroom was all new but no shower door or curtain just found this a little odd but very clean. Breakfast overpriced compare to other hotels I have stayed in.... More

We intended to stay for two nights with friends, but decided to extend it to a week - we were intrigued by the age and architecture. Our room was quite small and dark, and the air conditioning didn't seem to work. Our one window opened on to a back street, and we were looking straight into the apartments opposite -... More

Don't stay here. I will never go back myself. My room (305) was badly in need of a refurb, especially the bathroom that had broken facilities which were a health hazard. The Wifi didn't work. Had to queue to use the lift to get to my top floor room. The breakfast was extra and far too expensive for a very... More

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were helpful and the rooms comfortable and spotless. The only blip was that the overnight garage for 8euros was closed and we had to use another one costing 18euros.

Travelling through France to Spain, we needed a stop over, the hotel is difficult to find but worthwhile once we did. Good value, rooms need a shower as well as bath with shower attachment. Staff excellent, made the stopover worthwhile

Although a little difficult to find but very well located. Once there, the hotel is beautiful with a very warm welcome. Our room was very comfortable and quiet with a high ceiling and all the amenities. There is a tiny charming courtyard where one can enjoy the generous and delicious breakfast. Don't miss the amazing public garden in Nimes! The... More

The hotel is on a quiet street a little away from the busier areas of the town. The location is good and close to everything you need. Nimes is very walkable and the sights and good restaurants are never more than a 20-30 min walk at most with plenty of things a lot closer. I walked from the train station... More
