The rooms are average with a small attached kitchenette. The first night I arrived there the fire alarm kept making beeping sound every few minutes the whole night. The next day a lady came and told me that it is because she has to change the battery. However, after struggling for pulling the battery cover for a while, she managed... More

The lobby was cool in both temperature and décor. It was relatively clean. I wish I could say the same about the rest of the place. Upon arrival we were given a key by one of the only friendly staff members and given instructions on how to get to our room. We walked through a dirty corridor to our room...... More

Montpellier Apart'City was chosen for our three day stay in Montpellier because it was close to the city centre, had reasonable parking for our car and was sensibly priced. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful explaining the parking, 4 euros a night in a cool, secure basement and the WiFi supposedly only in the comfortable, busy reception area.... More

Stopped here 27th October to 31st October 2014- rooms were clean a little shabby but for the price not bad - easy walk to the centre or for the tram- breakfast acceptable with a reasonable amount of choice- we would stay here again

I have stayed in two other apartments similar to this one in Aix-en-Provence and Annecy, although I'm not sure now if those other two are run by Appart'City. I arrived 10 September 2014 which was just out of the main school holiday period. Perhaps because of that the apartment was very quiet and spotlessly clean. Although there have been negative... At first - I try to rate the hotel on a budget level - it isn't a 4 star hotel so you cannot demand the stuff you can find in such hotels. I try to rate positively because I think it is always easy to blame and to make things bad. In its category - appartment hotel for self service... More

I read some of the other reviews and I found the walk to the city center to be kind of endearing. There was definitely some rough characters but nothing felt nefarious. And now to the accommodations.... I can say this, you never want to go back to the hotel because it is so luxurious. It is basic. Very basic. We had... More

Further from the main area than I would have liked, and not super nice walking area at night. The hotel receptionists were really friendly. There was no internet in the room, unless you have a computer with a cable port (and then pay a euro a day). Otherwise, you have to sit in the lobby for wifi. No oven, but... More

We booked because of price. However, the location was terrible (far from tram) and in a dodgy looking area. We had to walk through several long, dirty hallways to get to our room. It's a strange layout. We found that we had been given a room with a sofa bed which was the width of a love seat. Because the... More

As part of our tour of the south of france this was one of four cities and the most expensive accommodation. It was also the dirtiest, bad value, lack of facilities, hardest mattress ever and lack of staff with any interest in helping their clients. This is part of a large group so I expect this is not what they... More
