My husband and I spent one night at the Hotel d'Aragon before embarking on a six day canal boat cruise on the Canal du Midi. Our room, the Madame de Stael, was small but more than adequate for a one-night stay with room for a king size bed, a desk and chair, small refrigerator, very nicely decorated and very clean.... This small, gracious hotel is situated in a quiet street very close to the heart of Montpellier. It matches this town's grace and charm, with a very comfortable accommodation, and a highly professional staff.

I visited Montpellier recently and stayed in this quality hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. The location was perfect - close to the bustling Place de Comedie with it's restaurants and bars. It was also close to shopping and areas of historical interest. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are helpful, friendly and informative. One of our... More

We enjoyed our stay very much. The facility was very clean. large room and bathroom. Excellent rain shower. Free internet was excellent quality. We did not use the free international phone service but we were impressed by the offer. The breakfast was typical European but very tasty and high quality. We parked in the nearby Vinci car parking station overnight... More

My wife and myself decided to take the TGV to visit her former university town. We chose this hotel from Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. Situated just off the main square in town makes it ideal to go out and wander the town. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom compared to our accommodation in Paris. The staff were extremely helpful, approachable... More

Very pleasant, small hotel - warm welcome at reception who were very helpful. The hotel is very central (close to the Comedie etc) but on side streets at edge of pedestrian area so it was quiet. Room recently decorated, excellent shower but no lift so this could be a problem for some travellers. Hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there... More

I do recommend this very cosy hotel in the center of the town, close to everything. It's a small hotel, very cosy, with great service and reception and we got nice restaurant recommendations. There are no restaurants at the hotel. I will definitely be back.

We tried to find this place by car in the dark in the middle of a storm in winter. But even on a sunny day, it's tough to drive here through the maze of one-way streets. And don't bother trying if you are in a big car! There is a public underground carpark 3-minutes walk away. I advise anyone staying... More

A really nice little hotel in a beautiful building. Location is very convenient for St Roch station and for the centre of town (the station is only about a five-minute walk). Staff are friendly and helpful - I asked for restaurant recommendations and was given lots of useful information. My room (Madame de Sevigne) was spacious, comfortable and very clean.... More
