Last night on a round trip in southern France, perfectly close to the Montpellier airport, but still very calm and remote amidst beautiful nature. The drive to this hotel seems industrial with construction underway, but once inside the walls; there is a sense of a rural setting. High on restored 'quaint' but otherwise rather lacking. Such a pity as everyone including the staff wanted it to be good. Breakfast was OK but supervised by someone aggressively wiping down earlier tables (at 9am - in southern France) so forget being able to talk. A great place with character and charm set in a peaceful location surrounded by fields.
