We found the hotel very easily although parking was not so easy. The reception staff, of whom we met three, were all absolutely charming. The hotel is quaint and not particularly well furnished. Our room was small with poor furniture, lacking a bedside table. The beds were very comfortable, although we found the duvet covers far too hot. The bathroom... More

My boyfriend and I were on a road trip through southern France and had 1 night here in Montpellier. I wish we could've stayed longer as a there is quite a bit to see and do. I wandered to the old town but due to a migraine had to spend most of my time there inside. Hotel: The exterior is... More

After an amazing wedding an hour away from Montpellier we decided to stay in the city for a couple of days recuperation. The Hotel du Paris is a really lovely hotel, very French which is what we prefer. Our room was a twin room at the front of the hotel and although a little bit of noise this is purely... More

The hotel and it's situation are absolutely charming. Very traditional French. We worried about parking, as it is in a pedestrian area, but the hotel has an arrangement with the underground car park 50 meters away with a reduced charge of 10 euros a night. The welcome was very warm. The room at the side of the hotel was small... More

I've stayed in this hotel several times. It'a a familiar nice place with very nice staff. Some rooms are very small, with no view and without frigobar, others are much better. Wi fi is not so good. On the other hand, breakfast is very good, including Mariage Freres' tea. The hotel is very clean.

We loved the old romantic building and no, it did not matter a bit that the hotel is not the newst. Its part of its charme, plus its very clean, tidy and i think they take an excellent care of it. Our superior room was very spacious, with mini balcony and great view extremely comfortable huge bed, nice bathroom with... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights, it's pretty central, you walk to most of the main sites within a few minutes. The rooms are quite basic but are attractive in the French shabby chic way. The breakfasts are great, well worth the 10 euros, and the service was very welcoming and friendly. Be warned however, as this is... More

We picked up our rented car at Montpelier airport , drove into the CIty, parked and walked 250m to the Hotel du Palais. Its position by the Arc de Triomphe at the top of the main shopping street was ideal and we left immediately to enjoy the warm evening air. Perfect. After a bottle of local white wine and a... More

Situated in the car-free zone, up the hill from the cathedral and a block from the busy rue de Foch, the small hotel looks like something out of a Bonnard painting, terra cotta coloring, potted flowers, wrought iron furniture in the breakfast room, calico cat that plays its part. Quiet and well-located for walking to all the tourist sites, and... More
