We came two days after the big flood in September 2014, and no complaints everything was perfect with our reservations. We had a great 10 days stay at this great and beautiful hotel. We took advantage of the 15 minutes walk to the Center of the City and enjoy the view of the Arc and the historic places. Love the... More

The Hotel des Arceaux was the perfect end to our 6 day road trip. The hotel is perfectly located just out of town, a short walk through the park. It means the hotel is quiet enough at night and parking on the street outside is easy to find. The rooms are small - but this is expected in French city... More

This was our second stop on a two week tour of Spain, France and Italy. What a great hotel, although not a 5 minute walk from the train station, perhaps they meant the tram stop. It was more like a 20 min walk from the train station. Our room was on the third floor and very clean. We felt like... More

The good thing about this hotel definitely is the friendly staff - many hotels could learn from its availability to help, guide, greet and chat. Otherwise, this is a decent hotel but not as exciting as I had expected based on the many positive reviews (and the rather high room rates). I was on a business trip, but traveling with... More

This hotel was every bit as good as advertised. My room, which was located on the first floor, was large with a modern bathroom and full length French doors which opened onto a small private balcony facing the street. The beautifully landscaped courtyard provided a manicured private space in the city. Due to some health problems, my daughter and I... More

We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised by the originality of the interior. The owner was very kind and helped us with our luggage,as our room was on the second floor. The room was very small but comfortable, not a lot of cupboard space and the bathroom was renovated and clean. The room had air conditioning and was situated in... More

The hotel is well decorated and very clean. The room seemed smaller than the advertised size but doubtless that was only a perception. A lot of time, effort and expense has gone into the decoration and fitting but little attention has been paid to the practicality of the design. The garden is delightful and a very peaceful place to start... More

A comfortable, simple hotel with friendly, accommodating staff. I wanted to stay somewhere local during a week's language course in the city. My room was compact but comfy with a modern shower room, aircon and mini bar, overlooking the small leafy garden at the rear where you can take breakfast or relax in the evening. There's a hotel cat. The... More

We booked this hotel looking at its review on Tripadvisor. So yes it is a lovely little hotel in Montpellier City center, even though it is not right in the middle of town. The room we got was super clean and nicely decorated overlooking the Main Street but very well isolated so that we could not hear any noise. We... More

Friendly and welcoming staff, small but pleasant rooms, beautiful garden for breakfast or Pre dinner drinks, great breakfasts, lovely location with views of the aqueduct and a short stroll to the old town and there is an organic market on Tuesdays and Saturday's. Highly recommended.
