My husband and I stayed in this hotel on our first trip to Montpellier and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It is in a perfect position, just around the corner from the main square and the service is excellent. The staff spoke excellent English which is always an advantage and the reception is open 24/7. I would recommend this hotel to... More

This hotel is a great find, its right in the centre of everything, just off the Place de la Comedie you feel right in the middle of things but without it being noisy, we were on quite a high floor, but there is a lift which is great if you have luggage. Rooms are quite small but good air con,... More

Hotel De La Comedie was conveniently located near restaurants, bars, cafe, cinema, ATMs, site seeing train & bus, as well as shopping centre. 10min walk to train station. The staff were fantastic. They held the key whilst you left the building as reception is open 24/7. Very polite with good English. The room was a decent size with small ensuite... More

First, I want to say that the staff were wonderful. I requested the lowest floor room near an elevator. It looked to be newly decorated. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the lengthy desk with excellent and free WiFi. My bathroom was tiny and being the "fluffy" girl that I am, it was pretty cramped. Hair dryer worked well... More

Very central budget hotel right off the main square: place de la comedie. Hotel: 2 star so your usual standard but very clean, flat screen TV, good shower Staff: excellent especially the gentleman with goatee and grey hair (thing for Rory Gallagher- he will know if he reads this!!!!) Breakfast: 7 euros and definitely worth it. As much coffee/tea you... More

Hotel was adequate considering the rating and cost. Location was just off the main square and close to restaurants. Shower is small however the breakfast was good and the reception staff on duty on 23 April was very helpful. He tried very hard to assist us with setting up our new GPS. R & T (Sydney)

Stayed for five nights mid August and were very happy with all aspects of this hotel. Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Clean room, perfectly adequately sized, with all necessary facilities, very comfy bed, hair drier, SUPER towels - changed daily, WiFi, air con. Under a minutes walk from the Centre Comedie, with direct access to the very reasonably priced tram... More

I arrived at the hotel, which is easily accessible from the centre-ville of Montpellier, the Place de La Comedie. just 2-3 minutes walk from the tram station, its located in a small street. Do not be fooled by the exterior, which doesnt look much, but the interior had been refurbished elegantly. I booked and paid for a single room, which... More

I stayed a few nights at Hotel de la Comedie and was very satisfied with my stay. Although the room was very small (they were upfront about this which I thought was great), it was very clean and comfortable. My only complaints were that the bathroom had no door which was a bit weird and the shower didn't drain quickly... More
