We got into Montpellier very late, got lost on the impossible ringroad, and finally chose this place in sheer desperation as we couldn't find the place we'd booked. In most respects this hotel was modern and comfortable. The staff was young but tried hard. We did notice the chemical odor trying to mask the smoke smell in "non-smoking" rooms. It prompted us to not stay in the room any more than necessary -- never a good recommendation for a hotel -- but didn't keep us from sleeping well.... more

We stayed one night on the saturday 6th june as a halt to somewhere else. We have stayed many times in Montpellier, usually at one of the "Mercures" or Suite hotel. I thought that it would be a treat to stay at the Pullman/ex Sofitel, and in a way it was. Except : the room was tiny, but nicely decorated.... more

No high expectations, Montpellier has nearly no hotels... but the now renamed Pullman is a quaint place. Centrally located, efficient service, good breakfast selection. Only the deluxe room could be a little more spacious... Dont miss the spectacular roof-pool! more

Have stayed several times over the years because it's a convenient stopover en route to Spain. But this is the last time. New name (Pullman not Sofitel) but nothing has changed.
