Which is the few rooms that offer a view from a balcony, which we had one of. We did not take breakfast as it was even more overpriced if you added their extra charge (every other place we stayed breakfast included). 3 out of 6 lights in the room worked. The bathroom smells and the shower head has nothing to... More

Just returned from a weekend break at the Triton. Arrived to be greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist with very little english but we managed to communicate with each other with lots of gesture. Room was basic in the extreme but clean and the view was spectacular. Had a lovely stay here and all the staff we met couldnt have... More

In short this hotel has a stunning location, BUT paper thin walls, and a shower system that was so poor it beggared belief, room was tiny, in short I will never stay here again, please don't make our mistake of location over quality, "it's just a place to sleep" not if you've got a crying child a couple of doors up it... what a let down, all looks great from outside and views are brilliant but we were transferred to the annexe across the road. Same great views but rooms that have had no money spent on them for 30 years. Everything felt tired and grubby. Wouldn't go back if they offered the room free. Breakfast was fine but great location and... More

We recently stayed at this hotel. All I say is look elsewhere. We were being watched by the owner while we ate breakfast and made to feel guilty if we dared have an extra bread roll! The room itself was shabby to say the least also very noisy! On checking out we were overcharged and the owner became highly agitated, hostile and aggressive... More

Having read the Tripadvisor reviews for this hotel before booking I was a bit worried, but as it was recommended to us by a friend who had stayed there on a few occasions we went for it.The hotel is not nearly as bad as reviewed by many others and we had a very enjoyable stay in the Triton. I will first... More

The proprietors of this very well positioned hotel have hurt what could be a flourishing business. They can only be described as incredibly rude, insulting and intimidating and God forbid you are English speaking or are in need of a room. If you are bold enough to stay in this hotel request a room in the main hotel and not... More

Stopped here for four nights and we booked a room at the front of the hotel, with a balcony. Thought the view across the bay was superb. Having said that the room was very small with a dated, functional bathroom. Rooms also have thin walls, so it all depends on what the other guests are like. Had to bang on... More

Two star maximum hotel .... we had a very basic tired room but a private balcony and fabulous views over the beach/ harbour. Parking available nearby. The View / location "made" our stay and we would return just for that. But make sure that you do get a room with a view. Without I would not consider staying there .... More
