We found this place by accident in 2002. Can't imagine staying anywhere else. The best view in France. What it is: A unique, romantic, waterfront, simply elegant, clean hotel with an incredible location AND a Michelin Star Restaurant. What it is not: A place for someone who is cheap, wants their feet rubbed, spa experience, is handicapped, an inexperienced diner or... This hotel is rated as 4 star, which it is not. It has lovely views across the bay and a good restaurant, staff are friendly and polite.....but...the rooms are very tired, old and weary, and the whole hotel lacks elegance or charm. Must be better places in this beautiful little village!

Room was very comfortable with a balcony and great views of the sea. The food was really excellent and also with fantastic views and great service. Staff were very helpful and the hotel is delightfully situated being just a short walk from the town.

There were only a couple of positives about this hotel in Collioure.....it has great views over the sea and the room had a great showerhead. Other than that it was a disappointment for the price-point. Rooms are very old and run-down. I think they are going for seaside shabby chic but really only managing the shabby. Bathrooms use cheap materials,... More

My wife's 40th Birthday deserved a cheeky weekend abroad, away from the kids and the chaos, I wanted to surprise her with something up market and wanted the feel of the Cotes D Azure but without the glitz, glam and sky high prices. So Collioure came up as a nice spot a bit quitter than the better known resorts. The... More

Came to Collioure following a 1 week trip on Canal de Midi(about 1.5 hours journey). greeted by reception in a very warm way----had our room ready and explained the hotel with an appreciated directness. we enjoyed the swimming pool(could be warmer) and the terrace as well as an outstanding meal(food and service was right) at the rated restaurant. walked into... The positives: a super, sea-side location offering a panorama over picturesque (but touristy) Collioure; a friendly, welcoming staff; a similarly inviting Michelin (one) star restaurant and, despite a difficult site on the corniche road to Port Vendres, suprisingly ample parking. Why not, therefore, the full four points? The hotel facility transmits a 'seen better days' impression: Paintwork (and plaster) need... More

In previous visits to Collioure we have stayed in the centre of town, but his time opted for half board at the Relais des Trois Mas, The hotel is built into the cliff face and features rooms of all sizes, some of which have small gardens. There is a small swimming pool, and a terrace restaurant with a super view over... More

I booked a room (rather last minute) for my husband and my last night on a 3 week trip through Spain and Basque France. I know it's listed as a 4 star hotel and I will agree with some of the reviews that the rooms were small and rather poorly appointed for this high of a status. I also know... More

My wife and I stayed here for a one night as an unusually upmarket treat. Waste of money for that purpose. The manager really made a big effort, and indeed was the stand out host we had anywhere in France, but the hotel just doesn't cut it for the cost. View is OK, but so is the view from any... More
