Easy to get to from the motorway and a short drive to the medieval city of Carcassonne. Plenty of parking. This is one of the few hotels that we found which had a room for four people but turned out to be a good base for a short break. Good value budget accommodation.

Hotel needs to update the published address; hard to locate even with a GPS in the car. Once there though, we were pleasantly surprised to find the room comfortable with free wifi, and parking. Breakfast was ok, but can be improved.

With the level of technology available to nearly all prospective bookers, there is no excuse for believing this hotel is close to the medieval cities. Our group knew this although I had thought the three or four kilometres might be walkable. It might be but it would not be wise to do so along the major road. The rooms are... More

The hotel is advertised as 3 km from the medieval town and your tour operator No. not warn us of your arrival at eleven o'clock, but it is with pleasure that we welcome you and for choosing our hotel. But sorry for the medieval city all our excuses More

This was cheap and the staff was somewhat helpful. It was very basic and the wifi didn't work while I was there. It was really far from La Citi which was the only reason we stayed in the city. It was not worth the cheaper price.

was looking for a cheap hotel for one night before flying out of Carcassonne. This came up on booking.com as the cheapest. It cost 39euros for the night. It was situated close to the main carriageway into Carcassone although the address was very vague...it is beside the Formula 1 hotel which is easy to see. The hotel had seats at... More

Looking for a small hotel on the east side of the city. The Formula 1 caught my eye from the main road, however the Audotel is the first to appear. On an impulse checked in for 2 nights. The room was very adequate, clean, good comfortable bed, breakfast was what was expected and the staff were very friendly and spoke... More

Carcassonne is a superb place to visit, BUT BOOK HERE WITH CAUTION. this hotel is small and is situated around 1.5 miles from the center. the rooms are basic with NO air con, air con is a must for this area as sleeping becomes impossible. people were running up and down the corridors at 3 in the morning also smoking... This hotel is obviously geared to one night stays for people visiting the Carcassonne Castle. The staff did not speak any English, but they were quite polite and tolerant of my rudimentary French. The room was basic, but fairly clean. It could accommodate four people, but only provided two towels. Oddly, the floors were covered with some kind of woven... More

Hotel is listed under 3 names, P'tit dej Hotel, Audotel and Inter Hotel. The address is Route National 113 which is a very long road, the hotel is way out of town toward Narbonne. It took an hour, plus plenty of stops for advice before we located the place, if it had an address we could have plugged it into... More

This hotel is right on the road before you get to Carcasonne. We had a car so this worked great for us. Be careful and don’t pass it, is by the McDonalds. The rooms were clean, but did have a couple of spider webs. However, they are sort of in the middle of the country. While there is commerce in... More
