I was looking for somewhere a little different and not too far from the UK to celebrate my 50th. Finally decided on Carcassonne and narrowed it down to a few hotels, and decided to opt for Le Jardin de la Cite. I am so pleased we did! I couldnt fault anything (even the weather was good). We had one of... More

We stayed here for two nights in October 2012 after a trip across to St Tropez and back . Only problem we had was with the weather.....two wet days here , after glorious sunshine elsewhere . HOWEVER , we couldn't fault this b&b at all . Five minute walk to La Cite entrance , little bit longer to get down... More

This is such an excellent place to stay, so close to the walled city and yet in a private setting - it was fabulous and the pool was a bonus to relax in after a hard days sightseeing. The owners are very hospitable and I can't wait to go back there!

Location could not be better! The view at night is something else! Rooms are a bit tight, but very clean, and very well decorated, with big shower in bathroom! The only thing that was missing, was the feeling that we were special guests, like most good B&B's usually put out! Benoit was a nice guy, but, everything seemed like it... More

Dear Steve. It's the very first time for me that i have to answer to a review. I'm just sad that you felt not so welcome that you wished, but sometimes you have to deal with some other problem in your own life. You know when you have to face with a Cancer and Chimiotheraphies since the begining of May... More

The location and setting of this B&B are great, easy walking distance to the town, quiet and easy to access. Breakfast was fine. Ben was friendly. My main gripe was with the bedding. We had 2 connecting rooms at garden level, quite nice, not really my taste in decoration, but thats not a criticism. My problem was with the bed... More

We stayed at Le Jardin de la Cite for two nights in September 2012. I had read all the reports on Trip Advisor and they are correct - a wonderful place to stay in Carcasonne. Ben was very good to deal with via emails and was there to meet us on our arrival. We arrived slightly ahead of time but... More

Perfect location and B & B within a 5 minute walk to the Castle. My husband and I chose this place based on the already amazing reviews and everything that has been said is true and this B & B is above and beyond. Both Benoit and Dani are wonderful hosts, met us when we drove in and gave us... More

Ben and Dany provide the ultimate B&B experience at this lovely property in Carcassone. The rooms are well appointed with many added extras like free WiFi, tea and coffee provisions and spare linen and pillows. The bathroom was modern and immaculately clean. Breakfast was very good and the lemon cake mentioned in other posts, is truely divine. The Castle can... More

This B&B is the best we've ever stayed at. The room was lovely and the views from the property were amazing. Ben and Dany provided a delicious breakfast each morning. Dany even made a lemon cake one morning!! Our bed was comfortable; there was lots of closet space; the bathroom was beautiful with an amazing shower I wished I had... More
