If you don't mind dingy rooms, no air conditioning in 80 degree weather, gross bathrooms that appear worn and outdated, kitchens that I wouldn't dare touching anything in it, uncomfortable beds, poor internet connections, and spartan rooms then this hotel may be okay for you just for location alone. Anyone else, stay far away from this 1star hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights in September 2014. The location of this hotel couldn't be any more perfect, a five minute walk up to the fortified city which means that restaurants, bars and shops are close at hand. The reception were lovely, we were informed we couldn't be booked in till 3pm (which was mentioned when we booked the hotel) so... More

Such a great location and a great opportunity for a fabulous place but incredibly poor room and facilities. The safe was broken, reported but no attempt to fix it or offer to change rooms, no blinds at two of the windows, the other was broken so couldn't use it. Internet poor, towels old, small and thin. No wall fixing for... More

I appreciated the location just down the hill from the castle and the helpful and friendly staff. They were assume! My only issue was that the accommodations while very clean were very Spartan in nature.

The location is good and parking is easy, but rooms are very bàsic, no decoration, too thin pillow, clean but ugly bathroom,..... Just to spend a night, no more! Also small tv and not spanish channels.

Will not check you in before 3 pm which is quite late (reception closed from 12-3) this causes a back up of people, so booking in takes a while. When we approached our room there was a terrible smell - blocked drains - in the room it was unbearable. I managed to get the room changed, the first one was... More

Accomodation was very basic and for €142 for one night is way overpriced. We did not mind that much as we were only staying for the night en route to Provence. Would have been very disappointed if staying for longer. Towels thread bare, no kettle, plastic cups that broke too easily, only small wine glasses (ie nothing else to drink... More

The place is greatly situated next to the castle. The room is big but so cold you fell like being in an hospital … The bed is very hard, our backs hurt after …. The breakfast is ok for the price with a lot of good and simple things …. ( don't really get why the housewives were taking some... More

Apartment was spacious and very clean. It was a very quick walk to castle. It only took 10 minutes to walk into town to watch start of Tour de France from the city after a rest day. There was a lovely deli down the road, where we could buy morning coffee and superb bread etc. There was also a great... More

Apart from the hotels located inside the medieval city, this hotel has the best location. It is easy to find when using Google Maps and only 5 minutes walk up to the city gateway. We managed to find a park in the street right in front of the hotel so avoided the car parking charge. The room was spacious and... More
