Arrived on 30th June, unannounced and had no problem getting a pitch for our large motorhome. Yes, there was no toilet paper in the cubicles...but there was a large dispenser outside the cubicles. The facilities were clean and modern. Expensive...but this was due to location and the undouubted demand.

Lovely walk from site to both old and newer towns via small river; maybe 20 minutes. Site is large with good access roads and a variety of pitch styles. There is a large area for camping for hikers etc. Pool and facilities look new. Restaurant and store limited but town fairly close. WIFI free but very poor. Very important to... More

We stayed here for two nights in our motorhome. The pitches are quite generous and the facilities are OK but not perfect. Lovely walk along the river into Carcassonne and quite a long walk up to the medieval city but worth the effort. Not for anyone with a walking disability however.

Stayed here for 2 nights when visiting the city. Large pitch but we did have to move as the electric points can be a long way from the pitches. Private and clean. Toilets were adequate but nothing special. Friendly receptionist, wifi was free but poor and sporadic. Please tell walk along river to the town.

In terms of facilities/pitch both were adequate. Showers and toilets were clean and plentiful, for early May. Pitches were large enough for our VW and quite private. Tight squeeze through the bushes though to get to the pitch. I felt like the staff desperately did not wont to be there, unfriendly but got the booking done quickly. Wifi was not... More

I'm not typically a fan of big campgrounds, but this one was pretty nice. The cost was 19.40 EUR for 2 adults in a non electric tent spot for one night. We arrived in the dark around 9 pm and though the reservation office was closed, the little cafe opposite it was open and the gal there checked us in.... More

there is a swimming pool, cool, BUT charging as for a hotel it would be nice to have clean toilets and toilet paper first. Wifi does not work at all on any of 4 devices, rather unfriendly service. Camping places are nice though, located in walk distance from medival city. Expect snails to give you a visit, haha. Definitely too... More

Dear Sir, Ms, We apologize for not being able to meet your requirements. The best thing would have been to talk directly with our direction on-site. Know that our toilets are cleaned twice a day. Regarding WiFi, it is true that, being free, many people use it and hence the flow is slow. Best Regards. More

We chose this camping because it was the closest to the medieval city, approx 20 mins walk. Clean and spacious areas for pitching the tent, bathroom/ restroom were clean and always lit in the evening. Liked the camp a lot because the hedges provided some privacy and the mini market was quite sufficient too.

Lets start on the plus side : good location, only a gentle 20 minute walk to the old walled city (which is REALLY worth seeing!). Private, individual campsites, screened off by hedges (albeit on the small side...). Reasonable amenities. And then, where do I start? Terrible smell throughout our part of the campsite (of dog p**p, but could be the... More
