We really liked the hotel. It was perfectly located for the cité, the staff were very friendly and we loved the breakfast, especially the emphasis on local products. We were two families and we fitted comfortably in the large apartment with beds to spare. It was missing a second bathroom ... and a fridge. Apart from that everything was perfect.

Hotel was brilliantly located! The pool, although not that big, was great for the children to cool off in after doing some sight-seeing. We had the family villa which was over 2 floors - unfortunately the stairs had no handrail. Not ideal for young children, disabled, or older guests. There was also just one bathroom which is a bit restricting... More

We booked family suite for 4, and were upgraded. The 'suite' we stayed in had 4 bedrooms, perfect for a large family or 2 families sharing. 3 of the rooms had king sized beds, one had 2 single beds. All rooms were lovely, the beds were extremely comfortable. Lovely bathroom, especially the shower. Large living room downstairs, with French Windows... More

This is a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location right near the main entrance to the medieval city. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Carcassonne. We stayed in a suite with a king size bed and a single bed for our 14 yer old daughter with a nice out door deck and sitting area.

We stayed at the Montmorency after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. and we were not disappointed. It was easy to access, great location to access the Castle ramparts and walk into the town. Room was a bit small, for two adults with large suitcases, we had to put them on the floor. We spent our days touring in the medival city... More

Excellent location. Small room but very clean with terrace and we were glad of aircon.Friendly staff. Nice bar reasonably priced. Continental breakfast expensive at 15 Euros and no restaurant but lots of good restaurants within short walk.

Beautifully located just under the Castle battlements, so a quick stroll into the old town, or about a 20 min walk down to the modern city (bit of a climb on the way back). We stayed in this hotel but reception is in the 4* Chateau hotel next door, as is the swimming pool, jacuzzi etc. We had Room 32,... More

Hotel is in super location just by entrance to medieval city and within walking distance of the 'new' city. The hotel has no reception on site - use the facilities in the Chateau hotel opposite - nice pool and breakfast room/bar. However classic rooms are very small for 2 people (OK as singles) and the decor of ours was awful... More

Excellent hotel with great breakfast made out of local farm specialties. Waitress are very respectfull and professionnal. The dining room is inside a large glassroom and faces the old city walls. A Unique view when you have your breakfast! The hotel is neat, modern, and uprange. It has a spa and massage facilities. The managing team is permanently making sure... More

This hotel is connected to a fancier hotel and is located right near the Narbonne Gate entrance to the big castle in Carcassonne. The employees were very nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were fine. We only spent one night but would definitely stay there is we came back, which we hope to. They recommended a restaurant for dinner... More
