If you want to stay in the Cite but not spend a mint, this is probably the place for you. It seems to be a side business for the owners, because they are not there very much. But the lady that greeted us was very friendly and accommodating. Once you get access to your room, it is quite good for... More

Though a little difficult to locate, it's worth it. Our second floor room was not large, but had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The courtyard is delightful and the access to the medieval city is wonderful. Croissants are delivered (noisily) overnight for a satisfying breakfast. The hosts are not very accessible and we had trouble paying, but we would... More

We have just returned from a four night stay here, and pre travelling we were not expecting much as the place was so cheap. However the place was excellent tricky to find i will admit but so quiet even though you were no more than a one minute stroll from the heart of the Cite. The building is old the inside is old... I love being in the medieval city and staying in sort of medieval dwelling though it has all comfort you can expect from the building like this. It's like being back to Middle Ages but with modern time features such as bathroom. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy breakfast (had to leave early), but there are no doubts that... More

We spent one night here at the start of a trip through southern France and cannot think of a better way to begin. Don't go here if you are looking for a conventional hotel no matter how many stars. This is something special. Built into the Cite walls as suggested by the name the property is ancient, quirky, higgledy piggledy... More

We booked this room because it was very cheap and we had to stay there only two nights. We weren't expecting too much but we were disappointed all the same. The room is very small and not very clean. It smelled dump and the mattress wasn't very comfortable. It looked like it needed some tlc. Apart from that, the location... More

We did have some trouble as we didn't get the right code for the door or our room number.. Make sure you have the phone number as there is nobody on site, it is self-service. You have to walk about 1/4 mile with your luggage from the car park. Once we got the right code for the front door (door... More

Walk around the Ramparts & you will find this place quirky indeed. Great views over the ramparts feels as though you are part of a Disney movie, pleased we were there out of season, thousands must visit in season. Room was small but had great feeling as being part of the castle adventure. Clean & well served with modern tea... More

We had room 1 and stayed for a week. The studio room was clean, quirky and very comfortable. Some of the other reviews say it is quite hard to find, yes it is - but all the streets are very visibly named so its just a matter of working it out. Unlike most of the other people who have written... More
